Blanco Albergue

I have started doubting my understanding of the concept of 'hostel' after staying here. The place has absolutely zero atmosphere and sadly I was the youngest guest there amongst all. Hot water in the shower is really just warm (barely making it there) and showertap turns off every two minutes.

En general es muy bonito, la cama es cómoda y está muy limpio. Algo que me encanto es que los lockers se cierran con tu tarjeta. Lo único que no me agrado es que no haya wc solo para mujeres, igualmente dentro de los cuartos no hay muy buena ventilación y los olores no se dispersan. Respecto a la lejanía respecto al centro si quieres salir por la noche no es la mejor .

Small hostel, not too much place to hang out, great location and helpful owner. When booking it i saw there was a kitchen but it is not a kitchen, it's a microwave and a coffee machine.

Good stay. Eco-showers were hot. Staff inhospitable. Beds were wonderful. Probably my best night sleep after 3 months of traveling.

Privacy curtains were the best I have come across lovely dorm rooms . Very clean hostel , lovely helpful staff . Communal area was not as big as shown in the pictures , but still very nice .

Really big and comfy beds with good privacy curtains. Very clean because it was cleaned every day at 10 AM from top to bottom—which means you can’t sleep in as a downside. I think the green and red motif was also a bit too strong, but overall the vibe was very peaceful as a stop for pilgrims. Across from park trails and great for walking. No stove to cook on unfortunately. Laundry very affordable, terrace with view of cathedral and great staff. Very lovely people working there.

Standard hostel for people ending the Camino I suppose!

Blanco Albergue is a peaceful place. I am very happy to have stayed here for a couple of nights. The staff have been very helpful. The place is clean and comfortable. The only suggestion I have for Blanco Albergue is to provide their guests with a little basket to put their clothes in while showering. This tradition works very well in Japan. If you provide a basket for the shower, then the guests don't need to put their clothes on the floor of the bathroom. It would be a lot more hygeni...

Wonderful stay with helpful staffs who speaks English n giving info about bus to take and boss drove us to the airport, what more can you ask for. Location is great too with supermarket, pharmacy, cafe n bakery n Cathedral all nearby.

Love Blanco Alburgue, lovely and clean. Stayed here for 3 days, most comfortable bed. And the lockers is card tapped fits my 45L back perfectly. Very secure. Quiet and cozy in the winter too. Laundry @ 6 euro 🫶🏻

Amazing hostel! Friendly staff helped organize late check in and luggage storage. Very clean and has privacy curtains, towels provided for free, and keycard lockers. Cozy vibe, would highly recommend!

Reception staff were helpful in a functional way but not exactly warmly welcoming… a smile doesn’t cost much. Whilst the owner was away from reception outside the building I answered the telephone in an effort to be of assistance ( it was another traveler trying to make a reservation) when I mentioned this to the owner he was a little rude in his tone and very dismissive/angry. It didn’t leave me with a nice feeling. Good location but please try and be a little kinder to your guests...

Great hostel set up in two dorms. Toilets and showers are separate which is nice. Linens and towel provided, kind staff, laundry for 6 euros, all around - great!

A wonderful hostel, they even give you a toneladas and you can use the key card to lock the lockers.

I was really impressed by the overall cleanliness in the hostel. The staff is very prompt at cleaning the shared areas in the morning. The bathrooms were always incredibly well cleaned. The bed is of good size and you get some privacy as you can easily cover your bed, plus there two sockets and a lamp. The hostel provides individual lockers which are pretty generous in terms of space. There is also a nice kitchen that can be used for socialising with other travellers. The staff is very friendly.

I've stayed in a lot of hostels, and this one I would recommend. The bed was genuinely comfortable with an actual mattress, sheets, and pillow. It's all key card secured including the lockers which are nice and big. I kind of liked that the hostel itself is not very big- it made it feel a little more cozy. There isn't much to the kitchen though (so just be prepared for that)
