The staff was really nice but the room and especially the floor had a really bad smell. The private room didn’t have a window and there was a cat toilet right next to the door which was kinda gross.

My first time leaving a review on Hostelworld: I beg you to not try this hostel. Crusty and colorful stains all over the bed. Dirty cotton swabs full of earwax littered all around my mattress. I would estimate 10 people have slept in the bed since its last wash. And they even gave me a towel which was meaningfully wet. I think one of them used it to dry off after their shower, and then they just folded it up for me.

Staff did not show up or leave instructions for me to enter the room.

The worst hostel ever. There was a bed bug infestation. I only stayed one night, and I still have bed bugs in my backpack because of the extreme infestation in that hotel. The place was disgusting — it smelled bad, everything was dirty, and it was honestly a horrible experience. It was not clean at all, and the conditions were unacceptable.

Felt like a home away from home. They are ready to help you in any way! Really friendly and also good clean rooms

The room is tiny and without window, the hotel is very old and in the corridor there is water coming down from the ceiling, toilet is smelly and the bed sheets are very dirty, full of stains and brown. We ask for clean bed sheets and the receptionist change our room to another dirty in the same way, at the end she gave us more pillow case, again dirty and ripped. The area is safe and the bar in the hostel is nice but the room was really bad

One of the worst hostels I EVER stayed at!!! Rooms have a heavy cigarette odor (my clothes smell like an ashtray) The pillow cover was yellow and the bedsheets had bloodstains and cigarette holes on them. Not to mention the mattress itself. The towel (I paid for) was dirty and had a musty smell Bathrooms smelled like pee and and showers had only cold water. Luckily I only had to stay here for a layover cause couldn’t have made it another day/night The only positive was the nice receptionist.

I really don't understand the good ratings for the hostel as it was one of the worst I've been to! The bedsheets had yellow stains on it, the pillow was extremely yellow (you could clearly see and smell that it hadn't been washed for ages). They told me that the stains were caused by the laundry service, so the "fresh" blankets also had them on it. On the day of my departure I've got an e-mail from Hostelwold telling me my booking was cancelled because of a no-show, even though I stayed there!

Got drunk and left my wallet in a random taxi on my FIRST day in Indonesia. Elite start to the trip. After frying my hangover brain trying to remember the taxi company, Pai (absolute hostel legend) somehow got it back the next day. Also worth mentioning, Lia (second biggest legend here) is apparently a professional s******* player (yes, it’s a card game). Great place to chill with locals, drink beers, and temporarily lose your belongings.

BEST STAFF EVERR LIA AND BAI WAS AMAZING!! Such good vibes, such good people, would defo recommend!!!

Huge shoutout to the entire front office crew for being super friendly and chill: Lia, Yoon, Rama. Great place to stay at for making friends and very good location in central jakarta. It can get quite hot in the lobby so bring a portable fan if you can. Nice aircon in the rooms, but there can be mosquitoes in the room too. Place is overall really worth the money and vibes are great, would recommend.

Der Hostelstaff ist extrem freundlich und kümmert sich um so ziemlich jedes Anliegen, dass man hat. Die Zimmer sind sauber, was vor allem für die Dorms gilt. Die private rooms sind etwas spärlich, aber dennoch gut für den Preis. Das einzige Manko ist die Location, außerhalb des hostels fühlt man sich nach 21 Uhr nicht mehr wirklich sicher. Aber dennoch sehr zu empfehlen.

when i arrived the locker was broken, luckily my belongings were safe. and for the bed i dont think they change and clean all of the beds everythime guests check out, same goes to the bathroom which i think not clean. but the staffs are really nice and i met a really nice roommate although i found it almost hard to interact with many other guests. the food was so so, and i really was difficult to use towel (in the other hostels towel is free). overall i quite enjoyed my stay there

Fantastic hostel in Jakarta. The whole city feels huge and overwhelming but this hostel is like a little safe haven from the chaos. Lovely staff that hung around and played cards with the guests, the beds were comfy and the dorm room had AC. Location is good I guess but everything seems far away in Jakarta no matter where you are. It’s close to an indomart which is handy

Friendly staff Edo, pay, lia, Raya, Andre and ade.. Helping with booking, and treating guest like family.. They have daily activity like family dinner, walking tour and karaoke night make it easy to meet other traveler.. And also great location, close to Cikini station, caffe also street food..

Die Lage ist gut und sogar die eine Freewalkingtour startete vom Hostel aus. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Was die Sauberkeit betrifft; es war sehr schmudelig in unserem Privatzimmer. Kein Fenster, sehr klein, schmutzig und in der Toilette waren noch viele Spuren von den vorherigen Gästen. Ich habe mich im Zimmer überhaupt nicht wohl gefühlt und würde das nächste Mal lieber mehr zahlen und dafür eine etwas angenehmere Unterkunft buchen.

Located in calm area,staffs were very kind and interacted well. They took us to the pub nearby in the night which was very happening.

It is a really nice accomodation to stay in Jakarta. You getting fast to the Monument and the center . I would recommend it.
