Propreté laisse à désiré . J étais dans une chambre qu avec des hommes de plus d une quarantaine d années. J ai du éteindre des sonneries d alarme en pleine nuit pck ils étaient trop alcoolisés pour se rendre compte que leur sonnerie sonnait depuis 20 min . Quand j ai mentionné au gérant le fait que je me sentait pas très en sécurité il m à dit que c était moi qui avait fait le choix de prendre un dortoir en gros c était mon problème sinon j avais qu à payer beaucoup plus pou...
I was in a room with men over forty years old. i had to turn off alarm bells in the middle of the night. they were too drunk to realize that their doorbell had been ringing for 20 minutes. when i mentioned to the manager the fact that i didn't feel very safe he said that i was the one who had made the choice to take a dorm room in bulk. it was my problem otherwise i would have to pay much more for a lost room.
Nie wieder!!!!!! Das Zimmer im Hostel hat fürchterlich nach Rauch gestunken. Auf Bitte für ein neues Zimmer wurden wir in ein B&B Zimmer gebracht. Das Bett und WC war einigermassen sauber, doch im Schrank und im Nachttisch lagen noch Produkte und Abfall von anderen Gästen. Unsere Zimmernachbaren waren Drogenabhängige. Kein Gefühl von Sicherheit empfunden!
The hostel room smelled of smoke. On request for a new room we were taken to a B&B room. The bed and toilet were quite clean, but in the closet and the bedside table were still products and waste from other guests. Our roommates were drug addicts. No sense of security!
Terrible. We were told by the owner they are closing next week. Alot of people were there who are homeless and it seems like they will have to move on. The location was good but facilities terrible. Dirty kitchen linen and a shower that needed,repairing. Definitely paid too much for what we got.
awful stay !!! cold shower ( even after i ask about it ), disgusting kitchen and terrible bed. no lock on the bedroom door.
Purtroppo nonostante la cortesia del personale l’ostello è terribile, puzzolente, poco pulito e poco sicuro (non abbiamo mai avuto le chiavi della nostra stanza). La doccia è un buco nel muro e c’è moquette sporchissima ovunque.
my impression of the cashel hostel is very bad. the manager had given away our seats and left us in the middle of the road with three small children without any solution. he said he tried to withdraw money from our credit card, which he couldn't do because i had requested to pay in cash on arrival, not succeeding he decided to give our beds to other people who arrived 5 minutes before us. he said he tried to call us on the phone, but that's not true! his behaviour was fraudulent and disgraceful...
There were no travelers there except me. It was a hostel for welfare recipients. People arguing in the dorm at night. Person so stoned he didn't recognize me 5 minutes after speaking to him. All seemed polite enough but not like any back packers hostel I've ever stayed in.
I feel bad leaving a negative review, but the staff was unavailable for hours in the morning. They take a 5 euro deposit for the key and I wanted to return my key before I left. I waited for an hour and no staff was available. I left the key and a note with my Whatsapp, hoping they would contact me and Revolut/Venmo the deposit. Nobody ever contacted me. The wifi speed/connection was spotty. If you are staying here while digital nomading, be aware that you may need to mobile hotspot.
Too many people in each room. No room for luggage. Noisy.
Volunteer staff was nice. This accommodation is OK for one night. I would not recommend to stay longer. Overall equipment is not functioning as expected.

Llegué y no tenían cama disponible para mí, el motivo fue que un grupo de personas reservó el cuarto completo, me ofrecieron otra pero pagando una diferencia que no estaba en mi presupuesto y no acepté. Me terminaron dando una cama compartiendo con una chica voluntaria, no estaba lo suficientemente limpio. No deberían ofertar algo que no tienen disponible.
I arrived and they didn't have a bed available for me, the reason was that a group of people booked the whole room, offered me another one but paying a difference that wasn't in my budget and I didn't accept. they ended up giving me a bed sharing with a volunteer girl, it wasn't clean enough. they shouldn't offer something they don't have available.

endroit très sympathique, dortoirs très correct! draps propre et agréable. salle de bain en ordre. la cuisine commune est agréable, mais est usée par les passages et le matériel commence à vieillir et être en moyen état, les gens respecte peu le "nettoyez après avoir utilisez !" personnel sympathique et relativement clair dans les explications
very nice place, very correct dorms! clean and nice sheets. bathroom in order. the common kitchen is nice, but is worn out by the passages and the equipment begins to age and be in a mediocre condition, the gens respect little the "clean up after use!" friendly staff and relatively clear in the explanations

Staff were great and it was a nice cozy and quiet place to stay in Cashel to get away from any business of the cities
This hostel is the worth the price. It is clean, peaceful and with comfy bed. People working in there are friendly ,helpful and accommodating too. Special mention to Dabo for the best customer service. Will definitely comeback.
El personal muy amable. Es un sitio correcto para pasar una noche, tiene cocina y todo lo necesario

This hostel was a solid option if you’re thinks of spending the night in Cashel. It's nothing crazy by any means and there weren't any others staying in my room through the duration of my night stay. It felt slightly unclean, particularly the sheets, but other than that, it was decent.

Great location, friendly staff and great place to stay Will be back
The hostel is in a lovely small town and has the perfect energy to be in the countryside. The Rock of Cashel is a very short walk and the town is so pleasant. The hostel garden/courtyard and kitchen have a very relaxing energy and the staff are all so nice and friendly. A great stay!

One of the two cheapest places to stay in Ireland (the other, first in my visit order, was Ben Lettery in Connemara, County Galway, it's the first by overlook but it's located at a considerable distance from the nearest town, Clifden, with convenience facilities, and from the bus stop, Canal Bridge). One of the two most exciting sites to stay in Ireland (the other, first in my visit order, was Ben Lettery in Connemara, County Galway, it's the first by outlook and athmosphere and convenience but it's located at a considerable distance from the nearest town, Clifden, with convenience facilities and the bus stop, Canal Bridge). The true Irish people at the staff, the Irish hospitality friendly athmosphere. Extremely recommended. Oleksandr Lubnyn, PhD.
Great value and atmosphere! Ideal location to see The Rock of Cashel, and it was one block to the bus, one block to a grocery store. Cashel was our favorite stop in the East of Ireland.
