Needs a dorm option for solo travelers. Was kept awake by loud group banging away upstairs half the night.
Small hostel with parking in walking distance. It was perfect for my one night stay to break up my drive. Small clean kitchen and room. The doors can be a little loud when people close and open them so I was woken up a few times by some loud guests but I would stay here again.

Lovely guesthouse in Grundarfjörður, perfect to spend a weekend and explore the surroundings like Kirkjufell !
No staff on site but check in easy. Single room tiny with just enough room for suitcase between bed and wall. Kitchen well stocked with decent service ware. Bathrooms clean and have hair dryers. Common area modern and comfortable.
Such a beautiful clean hostel with superb kitchen facilities. Great location. Highly recommend.
Es war so schön eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht und auch sehr Modern. Außerdem war es sehr sauber und das Personal äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich.
It was so beautifully furnished, with everything you need and also very Modern, plus it was very clean and the staff was extremely attentive and friendly.

This hostel was amazing and the location was perfect!
This is a fabulous little yellow room for a solo traveller. I loved the privacy (and at dorm hostel prices!) and the living area and kitchen were spacious. The town is small and feels very safe, which I appreciated. The cleaning team had great attention to detail. Overall a great value for money in a safe and peaceful location.
