For the price, it’s better to go to another hostel in Chania. This one is small, there’s not much space to store your stuff, the Wi-Fi in the dorms doesn’t work, and there’s little common space.
A good location with some nice people working in the hostel but it's is small and cramped. If I was to visit Chania again I would just arrive and rent a room in the old town (great value to be had in beautiful, old town, locations). Anyway, on the morning I checked out ((and hoping for a final swim in Chania) I was disappointed to be told that I would have to pay five euros to hold mg luggage for an hour or so. After spending a few nights in the hostel this was a sad way to part company!
insanely hot in the rooms. I literally could not sleep and ended up just leaving in the night to go to the airport early
The place is very well located but the rooms are claustofobic and the bathrooms so small; also if you need to use the toilet you had to come back to the room that in my case was in third floor. The kitchen is so basic and the fridges were so dirty. The attention was so good and the atmosphere very nice. There is only one cummon área at the terrace outside at the basement. My stay was so nice because the location and the atmosphere but the prize is expensive gör what they offer.
I’ve stayed here a few times, it’s good enough for just a place to sleep at night. They don’t let you leave your bags after checkout unless you pay 5€ which sucks. I wasn’t feeling well after my checkout and my friend who was also a guest let me use her bathroom since there isn’t one in the common space. The woman at reception screamed at me in front of everyone for it. There’s also not much space so it was impossible to get away from the creepy male guests who wouldn’t leave us ...
Great location, clean and does the job but soo crammed. No shelving in shower or hooks in bathroom had me having to put my stuff on the floor. Had lockers under the bed which were metal and bare floor meaning when people were getting go stuff out in the middle of the night it was sooo loud and made for a poor sleep.
it's livable but be aware that its very very small.
Good vibe but rooms could use a freshen up

Great hostel in the heart of the old harbour. Walking distance to taverns, cafes and bars. The hostel has the best staff and super clean dorms with friendly guests that all made a super atmosphere. I will definitely return!
friendly staff great value and central location
Prima hostel voor een paar nachten, maar niet echt gezellig of super schoon
Wonderful location and friendly staff! However, I would have liked to see more seating available in the hostel. Additionally, I ended up switching which bed I was in because the outlet for my bed did not work, and this made it very difficult for me to complete school work.
The location couldn’t have been better! Just a short walk to the old harbor, right in the center of everything. No real inside places to gather but the location made up for that. Clean, charming and most of all, the location was perfect!
Brilliant hostel
Great, Elaine is very sweet be nice to her
Stayed twice, both of the times felt great about the check in process and the stay itself. Big lockers, only common area to hang around is the on the street. No loud bars nearby.
the hostel isn’t the best, super small, lots of stairs, but the vibes were great and the location is great so it’s still an okay place to stay! just for me i’d prefer a place with bigger rooms and common areas
Great location! Clean and chill!
Awesome location. Beds are ok. The only real issue was the kitchen: The fridge is filled with old food and it smells (you are not required to label food etc). They dont have a dishwasher, and a lot of the dishes were dirty. Trash was overflowing and flies everywhere. Stay here if you dont need a kitchen or communal areas. Really nice and helpfull staff. Padlock was avalable for the lockers, for free.
Staff were lovely and fun to talk to! Super social and friendly :) Bathrooms were very small which made it hard to move around and if I’d had to shower I think it’d have been difficult to manoeuvre after to avoid getting the bathroom super wet. The location is so stellar and the beds were super clean so at the end of the day totally a worthy choice!

I was here for a week and it has everything you need: comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and kitchen and a great location. I really have no complaints.
The best location and the nicest people! Suited us perfectly!! Usual basic hostel standard but comfortable and clean.

The location is great being right near the harbor however there is only a couple tables outside with limited seating for travelers. Unless you like sitting outside for hours talking to people in an alleyway this might not be the best social hostel. Staff was kind but I ended up staying in the bunk which kind you gets hot since they are vertical bunks meaning they are like little caves you crawl into. No air flow and very limited room in the room to move.
My stay at the hostel was amazing. Angelika took us on a day tour to Seitan Beach which was beautiful. Overall the hostel is rite in the centre of the Old Harbour in a little quiet laneway full of taverns and wonderful locals. The dorm was spacious and met nice other guests there...I will be back soon!
it's livable but be aware that its very very small.
