Urban Oasis Hostel

When I found this hostel it was very well rated so I was super excited about going. But although the staff are nice, the installations are very old. There is NO air conditioning and during summer this made it very hard to live by; at night it was actually hotter inside the hostel than outside in the street. The rooms have old furnishing, the shower had a broken door and no shower carpet so the floor of the bathroom was always wet and dirty. Very disappointing experience overall.

We were just quite underwhelmed with our time here. We’ve stayed at many hostels, but this one was just lacking quite a lot. Our room wasn’t very clean, very little privacy (no curtains on the beds), small noisy electric fans on the bedframes that didn’t do much. Also saw a huge cockroach in the bathroom. The outdoor area was big and could be lovely but there wasn’t anyone outside or any socialising organised at the hostel even though we were there in the middle of summer over a weekend.

A nice hostel with a good price, the rooms were a bit noisy and adding fixed beds with curtains would be necessary. The rest of hostel is nice and clean, very nice was the small garden behind.

Very good hostel in Lecce. The girls dorm of three beds is great, there is no curtains on the beds but as there are only 3 beds it’s fine. More hangers are needed in the dorm ! Laundry is available (6€) even though it’s took two days to dry hanged in the garden. Location is fine but not in the old town. Shower pressure a bit weak. Nice common areas but not very social end of Oct probably bc it was low season.

Posto molto carino dall’atmosfera tranquilla dove puoi sentirti a casa. Attaccato al centro e alla stazione di Lecce. Comodo per esplorare la città e i dintorni. Camere spaziose, spazi comuni ordinati e puliti tra cui una cucina ben fornita e un simpatico giardino interno dove prendere il caffè con calma o rilassarsi su un amaca.

Cadre agréable. Proche du Lecce touristique mais très calme. Beau petit jardin.

Lovely space located close to everything. Clean quiet, welcoming - fantastic spot for my trip to Lecce.

Good location, very clean staff very helpful. Didn’t find it massively social as there were no events etc but good place to stay in Lecce

This hostel did a great job creating opportunities to meet new people. I truly appreciated the private transfers (€20) to/from the hostel to places that were inaccessible by public transportation during off season (e.g. The Grotto de Poesia, Torre Dell’Orso, and Sant’Andrea). Rocio, the volunteer hostel worker at the time, also fostered a great hostel community, from organized a community dinner to leading day trips! Cons: limited outlets-either charge your phone or use the light/fan.

I was in the the 4 bed mix dorm it had a convenient bathroom in the room. The bed was comfortable and everything was nice and clean. Very nice big garden with some cats. Nice common areas and kitchen. Also activities were orginized with Rosie. Very helpful and friendly people!

Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare nell’ostello Urban Oasis di Walter e Marilena a Lecce e mi sono trovato davvero molto bene. Sono due persone accoglienti, disponibili e sempre attente alle esigenze degli ospiti. L’ambiente è curato, pulito e con un’atmosfera piacevole e rilassata. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un soggiorno autentico e senza pensieri a Lecce

Muhteşem bir hostel, adım atar atmaz temizlik kokusu biyüküyor insanı, her katta ayrı bir kütüphanesi var, ve ilk kattaki kütüphanede oturma koltukları o kadar rahat ki.. şehiri gezmek için kalkamıyorsunuz.. kadın odasında kaldım , çok rahat çok temiz.. sahibi Walter inanılmaz yardımcı.. tabi ki portakal ve mandalina ağaçlarının olduğu bahçesi ve çok tatlı kedileri.. bir gün kalacaktım, o kadar mutluydum ki 4 gün kaldım..

Great place to stay. Location : inbetween the train station and the center, perfectly located. Easy not only to visit Lecce but to take the train and visit other places. Staff member : Walter is very friendly and helped alot! Rooms : regularly cleaned, very secure and spatious. I will come back if i can :)

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Very relaxed. Helpful staff and lovely inside. Clean comfortable and chilled.

Excellent à tous les niveaux, je recommande fortement. L'auberge dispose d'une librairie et d'un jardin idéal pour se reposer.

Local sem elevador, mas pelo preço valeu a pena. Eu não tenho problemas com gato, mas para quem tem é complicado. Vários gatos na parte social do espaço. O quarto foi ótimo, pois não era beliche, só 3 camas. Com espaço bom.

This hostel is very cute. Not far from the center and station is nice.
