Booked for 4 people and got a room for only 3 people. Had to argue with the staff to get even get a mattress in. The hostel also charged multiple hidden fines - cleaning fee of charge £20 and multiple “taxes” that were not listed on the website. Hostel itself had no atmosphere, no common room or anything, and no one at reception at check-out.

Hallo, das( Zimmer) wurde nie gereinigt innerhalb 5 Tagen !! Papierkorb nicht geleert !!!! Für mich kein Zimmer sondern ein Abstellraum für Putzutensilien und das für 30€! Pro Tag /// !!!!! UNMÖGLICH !!!!! Abzocke pur !!! Abfluss Rohr vom WC im Raum . Fenster 25x25cm Preis Leistungsverhältnis in keiner Weise gerechtfertigt //// Schmerzen im Rücken von der schlechten Matratze .

Would not recommend this hostel. It's very dirty and theres a horrible smell of damp in the downstairs dorms. The hot water didn't work sometimes

Worst decision to stay in the dorm room. It had no AC in the brutal Bucharest summer, despite a picture showing one. There was a ventilation system when turned on the fan was extremely loud and ear plugs barely helped. It was so bad I paid for two night sleep and left after one night to a real hostel that had AC.

Bookings should always be refundable... No place should have non refundable bookings.

It was not really clean we had water randomly ob the floor on multiple occasions the rooms are in poor quality for the price there should be at least a living standard

First of all: I was deceived! On the add, they offered breakfast, which made me decide for this hostel instead of a better one because breakfast Is very important to me! When I asked where It was served, I simply heard: oh, we don't serve breakfast anymore. I said: what?? But it's on the add!! And the receptionist: I think they forgot to remove it. Just like that, as if it was normal!!! I felt robbed because I PAID FOR breakfast. I proposed a discount or a later checkout, but they refused all.

Early check in when requested for free was charged the same price as a night in the hostel. Don’t offer luggage room so pretty much pressured into buying early checkin. reception is empty most of the day so it is very inconvenient. no checkin after 10pm so many tourists were left without a place and was waiting for ages in front of the hostel. the toilet and especially the shower was absolutely filthy. the shower had so much mould there was mould growing on mould.

The personal need intensive courses on hospitality the room was dirty bed sheets had blood stains on them hair and skin cells all over the bed it was like literally someone was sleeping there like 5mn before the check in time the room was frizzing no heating at all in the day the shower curtain fall over me every time I go take a shower i don’t recommend at all When u ask them to change the bed sheets the guy was arguing and aggressive voice tone and saying I slept in it making me uncomfortab...

Had a pleasant stay. For what you pay for the private room everything was there. I do wish they had a shower head, it was a pain to hold the handle separately. Very close to the Old Town. Area looks sketch but I felt safe. Staff was friendly. Was clean, but only thing was strong scent of sewage when toilet was flushed. Would stay again.

The room was fine, quite big. We booked the one with the whirlpool (which was the cheapest), but when we arrived there, it was just a bathtub, with some water jets, which smelled like they hadn’t been used in years. You should know, there also wasn’t an additional shower, wasn’t that nice washing you hair in an open bathtub. In addition, we were charged with an extra 20€ hidden cost for cleaning, which they mention in the last line of the house rules. Also no luggage storage.

La colcha de la cama doble era pequeña y pasamos frío.

Carino, ma in pochi sapevano parlare inglese. Inoltre l'asciugacapelli non funzionava e alcune doghe del letto sono cadute più volte ed abbiamo dovuto sistemarle. Aspetto da fuori un po' fatiscente, ma che per fortuna non si è rivelato tale: dentro moderno e smart tv (con telecomando senza copripile ma vabbè)

I wish they had normal shower heads and not the sustainability kind. it makes it too hard to shower.

Ostello in posizione a pochi passi da Lipscani, stanza spartana ma perfetta per le nostre esigenze che ci dormiamo solo. Unica - ma grave - pecca un odore terribile di fogna proveniente dal bagno, di cui ci siamo accorti solo la prima sera al nostro rientro, nei giorni successivi ci siamo sempre mossi prima dell'apertura della reception per rientrare tardi quando la stessa era già chiusa, per cui non abbiamo avuto modo di rappresentare il problema. Il prezzo basso non giustifica tale disagio.

All hostels I've been to had a common area with simple kitchen and fridge to use. I was disappointed that not this one. Description said that when staying in dorms you had access to a fridge and kitchenette, so I thought that with my private room (always s more expensive than a dorm bed) that would also be the case, but no. It would have been good if they would have stated/reminded this explicitly in advance. No good communication in advance (ignored messages about payment issue for 4 days).

Overall a good place to stay under a budget. No other amenities are provided except small bar of soap.

The definition of fine. Has most of what you need, decent location, good price. The rooms have a funky smell, there’s no table or anywhere to sit, and the shower curtain has a huge gap at the bottom so water gets everywhere; however, it’s a decent place to sleep and leave your stuff while you’re out, but that’s about it.

This was a great place to stay with great accommodations. The location is a little bit hidden and in a place that has a rough neighborhood, I had no problems. AC was great, awesome sleep. Lots of places to eat around here also

Private room was really spacious and comfortable. great location. No facilities no vibe no luggage storage. But good for a central stay on a budget.

Eu gostei voltaria sim para uma próxima e recomendo que vá para lá e simples mas é um bom lugar . Só acho que falta uma marquinha de conveniências Como água …

Gros problème avec la cuisine, elle est sale et elle le restera pendant tout le séjour donc nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la cuisine. C'est une petite cuisine en sous sol. Pendant notre séjour les résidents faisaient mal ( ou pas) leur vaisselle mais cela ne choquait pas le personnel !

This is a very good price/value place. If you want to have just a room to come back to while you going around Bucarest, this is the place. Not a lot of extra’s. No common area’s, but for me it was exactly what I wanted. Airconditioning in the room , private toilet/shower. All very basic but for this price a very good deal.

Not a bad state, but the slanted roof in the bedroom meant I kept banging my head whenever getting out of bed

Het is een prima hostel. Niet schoon, maar ook niet vies. Voor wat je betaalt is het echt prima. Ik had een privé kamer zonder veel verwachtingen; het bleek nog een airco en tv te hebben. Dus dat was top! Check in is super relaxed. Er is buiten wat gemeenschappelijke ruimte, maar toen ik daar was werd het alleen gebruikt om te roken.
