Podshare East Hollywood

Honestly don’t bother. I thought it looked like a great boutique hostel in an even better location. Sadly it’s not - there is absolutely zero privacy, if you are on the lower bunk you’ll feel very overlooked. There is no separation between areas, the main door to the very busy main road literally opens up into the bedroom. It’s also not safe, I was followed in by two non guests which was very unsettling, and during the day when the cleaner is there they leave the floor level windows wide...

Very solid bunk set up with comfy beds and room for storage. Bathrooms are a bit funky & small (1 shower for 10 ppl) so plan ahead for a back up in the morning.

Great hostel. I stayed for. 3 night last and had a great time here. Although on the last day I found a flea around my living area, so I killed it and didn’t really think about it again. The next morning I woke up with about 40 flea bites up the left side of my body. Not great. The pod areas could go through a deeper clean.

Smaller than expected space Bed was comfortable and staff accommodating Stayed there twice in one week

The Podshare was very clean. The location was close to several restaurants and within walking distance to the metro. I felt safe and comfortable staying there.
