+ The manager was aggressively pressuring me into taking hard drugs. He had the creepiest friends coming round high on allsorts. They were talking about black market stocks, so I don't know what would have happened if I'd been drunk or worse.
- The rooms had the decor of a crack den.
+ The free use of the gym
- On arrival I had to wait 30 minutes for the owner to check me in, the funny part was that other members of the staff were there but they couldn't help me. On the top of this they refused to give me a towel the first day justifying that a previous costumer stole one 😅. I left the second day because at 5 o clock reception girl was screaming so much on the phone and I couldn't even sleep. The owner refused to reimburse me the other 2 days I was supposed to stay, justifying that the booking was made. (Well I pay to "SLEEP" I suppose and when you can t provide that, the least you could do is to give the money back to the costumer). Overall is not a place to sleep, is just some weird place that I don't recommend at all

- No creo que este alojamiento pueda estar en booking. La verdad es que se trata de un gimnasio donde tienen algunas habitaciones justo dentro del centro. En una de ellas vive un hombre con su hija, en otra hay algunas camas para compartir habitación, y en otra estábamos nosotros. Para empezar, elegimos la poción con desayuno incluido, y al llegar nos dijeron que no era posible hacer-nos el desayuno. Nada mas llegar, lo primero que hicimos fue mirar otros hoteles alrededor para irnos de este. Pero era tan tarde por la noche que decidimos quedarnos y mañana seguir mirando. HABITACION: Se escuchaba exactamente todo el ruido de las otras habitaciones. Había una ventana que comunicava directamente con la habitación compartida y oíamos el vecino roncar como si estuviera en nuestra habitación. La habitacion olia muy mal, nos costava dormir del mal olor, y como no tenia ventanas para ventilar lo dificultava aun mas. Dentro de los armarios de la habitación estaban llenos de ropa sucia que olia fatal, me vinieron arcadas solo con abrir un segundo el armario. La cama no tenia sabanas, a saber cuantas personas habrían dormido allí encima del colchón directo. Por suerte traíamos una manta que utilizamos de sabana. La dejamos allí del asco que nos daba. La mesita de noche estaba asquerosa, super sucia. Preferimos dejar las cosas en el suelo. Dentro de la habitación había lagartijas y hormigas. BAÑO: se trataba de un baño compartido con la familia que vivía allí. Tenían todas sus cosas tiradas por el baño, súper sucio y con cucarachas dentro. Para ducharnos fuimos con mi pareja para aguantar los jabones y las toallas para no dejarlos en el suelo o encima del friega manos del asco que hacia todo. No recomiendo para nada este alojamiento, hay otros con el mismo precio o un poco mas que valen mucho mas la pena. Creemos que los anteriores comentarios son FAKE!

+ The location was lovely, in a nice and quiet street. The room was nice and spacious and the other guests were extremely welcoming
- I arrived after 9pm to a completely dark building and had to call the owner to tell me how to get in. It was eery and kinda creepy. The owner tried to make it pleasant, but the first impression stuck. The bathroom wasn’t nice and there was no hot shower. One of the guests told me how to get hot water, but I don’t think the gas heater is still safe and it was pretty scary. I also couldn’t close my curtains properly and the window opened up to a public balcony, so getting dressed felt a bit tricky

+ Chambre très bon marché - Patron et équipe du club de fitness causants et sympas. Le PLUS c'est l'accès libre au club de fitness, je n'ai pas eu le temps d'en profiter ...
- Ce sont des chambres annexes au club de fitness donc musique et bruits en journée. La mienne avait une fenêtre sur le couloir... Donc ça dépanne bien si on n'est pas riches, pour quelques jours !
+ C'est avant tout un club de fitness avec quelques chambres annexes, basiques, sdb partagée et ambiance club de sport ! Les gérants sont présents et prêts à vous aider et répondre aux questions. Juste un bémol pour moi, pas de fenêtre dans la chambre ... Sinon le quartier est résidentiel et très calme.

I'd previously stayed in Thamel and didn't exactly love it there but it was so much more quiet and peaceful around Mystic Vibes. There are also some really nice restaurants around (vegan and vegetarian ones, too). The Wi-Fi was pretty good and I was able to teach some online classes here. Suneet, the guy who runs the property, was very helpful and gave me some good tips on places to go around Kathmandu and treks to do. Would certainly stay here again.

There are also some really nice restaurants around (vegan and vegetarian ones, too). The Wi-Fi was pretty good and I was able to teach some online classes here. Suneet, the guy who runs the property, was very helpful and gave me some good tips on places to go around Kathmandu and treks to do. Would certainly stay here again.

+ Mystic vibes is indeed a unique homestay in Kathmandu. Located in a quiet area of the city, it is only a few minutes by motorbike from the main attractions of the city. Besides the great facilities including a gym and a mandala room for relaxing and sharing some insightful conversations, the room is spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom is big and has hot water. I arrived with a bit of a cold from my journey and my stay in Mystic Vibes helped me to recover. Sunit, the host, is a very kind man. He checked up on me and made me feel welcome. His place is a unique combination that nourrishes the body and the soul. Besides, it is located above Art Brew Coffee, a café that is also a space to develop creativity through painting. Thank you Sunit for welcoming me in Mystic Vibes ♡

- Mystic Vibes offers a great experience, though a spring mattress would have enhanced the stay. However, the host mentioned ongoing renovations and upgrades, promising an even better experience next time. Looking forward to returning!
