Although there is a nice balcony am Zimmer with sea view, however the beds are very uncomfortable and much too expensive for the price.
There was no more room in the dorm for me, so a single bed was put in the room. I was very restless because everyone had to pass me and I also had no privacy or electricity. The lockers are absolutely not safe, you can unlock any lock with any key. I was accidentally given a key to a tray that was already in use several times and after testing the keys, I noticed that it was all the same lock
the dorm is basically one big room that was like a bar before, other half of the building is still under construction. Also no cool area to hangout. Would not recommend this hostel in it's current condition. Not the cleaninest also.
Fumiko’s staff are kind and helpful. The main room has only two AC Units with one that does not stay on. If one breaks, the room becomes extremely hot. There are fans around but simple floor fans that do not offer much help. There are lockers but no locks provided and no key for the dorm room entry- anyone from the street can walk in. The breakfast is delicious and changed each day. Location is good- removed but still close to many things. Half the bathrooms had no toilet seat.
Rina is super sweet and helpful. The place was still under construction, and the wifi in the basement was pretty bad. It needed a proper hangout area. And there was a lot of mosquitoes. But really good pancakes in the morning. All that being said we loved our stay.
This place was fine for a few nights! Not much of an atmosphere. I thought I’d end up in the big 30+ dorm but ended up getting a 2 person shared room which was the best part of this stay! The breakfast wasn’t free but very cheap and nice! They could use a few more showers for the amount of beds they have.
War Bit Two friends there for 3 nights. there is not much nearby about the 10-15 min to a good beach. the woman at the reception was nett only one of them could speak good english and it was very dirty hat smelled of dog and of 3 klos only one had a toilet cover. would not think to come again was but also not the worst thing i have experienced. ✌
The host Rina has done everything to make my stay as pleasant as possible, I would definitely recommend this hidden gem for your stop in Siquijor.
Great hostel! Rina is incredible so nice and creates such a good vibe and 100 peso for a great breakfast every morning . We got trapped on the island because of a typhoon and luckily she had a generator and gave us all free alcohol. Would recommend

I stayed at lots of hostels but Staying at Fumiko Rina was a whole new experience. The way they treat animals and guests reflects a lot about the vibes of the place! They were always with a genuine acceptance to the guests who stay there and so welcoming! One of the best part of staying At Siquijor!! They have breakfasts and a loy of vegetarian options too! I will definitely come back and stay here again.

I loved it
Awesome stay at Fumiko. Rina takes great care of everyone and also happens to serve the best breakfast on the island. I will be back.
