Lunar Beach Hostel

An der Rezeption sagten sie die unteren Betten seien teurer, als ich meinen Aufenthalt verlängerte. Im Zimmer 101 Bett Nr 2 hatte es Bettwanzen. Das Zimmer war gleich neben dem Empfang, darum bis Mitternacht etwas laut. Sehr harte Betten. Draussen an der Wäscheleine hingen die selben Badetücher/Kleidung über eine Woche, welche bestimmt vergessen gingen, so gab es wenig Platz für nasse Wäsche aufzuhängen.

What does one need from a one night in a hostel? Good shower and good sleep. There was NO hot water, I ended up not showering early morning before my departure. No hooks or places to hang/place your belongings in the bathroom when you (attempt to) shower. I woke up with a cockroach on the bedside right above my head that killed any desire to continue sleeping. Gosh I thought fine cockroaches could be in the kitchen, but bed?? Also I did not feel comfortable with the fact that they took a photo with their phone of my passport. I know it is a normal practice for hotels to scan your passport, and I would have been okay with that, but I surely did not like the whole phone photography situation. Where will these photos from the phone end up? Does not look legal or legit. I had an upper bulk and it was freezing because of the AC. I tried changing the temperature at night but in the morning it was back to the low setting! One can catch a cold easily. Finally, it was hard to fall asleep because people right in front of the female room (in the hallway) were talking loudly for a while and nobody was doing anything about it. Should there not be some rest hours after which one should not talk loudly in common areas?
