Even on a cold day, the room were unbearably hot at night, and there were bed bugs

Great location in the heart of the Northern Quarter of Manchester. I stayed here 4 years ago and I had been renovated since then. Rooms and bathrooms are good sized, clean, and comfy. We did have an issue with bugs in one room on the bed. Not bedbugs, but some small ones that we couldn’t identify. The staff were great and gave us another room immediately. Kitchen/ lounge area was okay. The fridge needs a good cleaning and there was only one coffee mug and one tea cup to use. I ended up buying one to use while there. We had 6 rooms and all were decent sized, with one corner room quite large. Having the bar adjacent was good for a relaxing evening drink. But it can get loud in the area at night. Especially on the weekend. The inside rooms were quieter than the ones facing the street. Overall a good experience and I’ll stay here again. Kitchen area needs cleaned and sullies replenished.

I stayed for two nights, and unfortunately, I got bitten by bedbugs. It's getting worse, and the hotel really needs to pay attention to hygiene. That said, the location and the staff were great.

The staff were nice. Had everything you needed for a place to rest your head. We both got bitten - bed bugs maybe? Could be cleaner.
