   Our room was infested with bedbugs! They only had one person working, and no manager around. When told about it, they just apologized and offered a free breakfast. Had to leave and buy a hotel for the remainder of our stay. Also was not offered any information about a refund. Had to ask how to get a refund, they just said to email, and I have seen other reviews of them not responding. We will see if a refund is possible.

   Updating my review to 3 stars instead of 1. They did end up refunding me weeks later. I’m not sure if they would have refunded me had I not reached out to senior management abroad directly (because they didn’t respond to my email for like a week). FALSE ADVERTISING. We paid for a four person room but were put into an 8 person room. 4 person per floor, but they closed off the staircase to make it “two separate rooms”. However we were woken up repeatedly by multiple people coming at night and also every hour from 6-8am by the 4 people DOWNSTAIRS with repeating snoozing alarms. We couldn’t even ask them to quiet it or wake them up to prevent the alarm ringing again because we couldn’t see them. we checked out one day into our four day stay and they claim that the only way for me to get some refund or assistance is via email.

   The photos of the hotel in the app are nothing like the reality. The rooms are dirty, poorly lit, and feel neglected. The atmosphere is uncomfortable from the moment you walk in. On top of that, the staff behaves as if you are asking them for a favor every time you request something basic. When I tried to cancel because everything was dirty, the customer service team from Booking told us they could not give a refund if the room had bedbugs. Yes, you read that correctly — if the room has bedbugs, they still say they cannot refund you. This was an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience, and I would not recommend staying here.    NOT a Safe stay. I was lured by the positive reviews and desire to feel home. A nightmare to avoid. Not safe for ladies. The hostel has an okay location close to the main Train station. The location make extremely loud every moment at the permecis of this hostel. Even with windows closed you can hear,screaming,banging,smashing and bar activity nearby. Hygiene problem. The rooms are covered with carpet which is soaked with moisture,dirt and smell very badly especially when raining. The bed itself seamed not done and obviously someone else had slept and the sheets were not changed. Entering the room very strong smell of dirt,moisture and unclean is hitting you in the face. The room I say in 4 bed dorm is very small. Window is working so I try to solve the smell issue with opening. The strong smell from a person next bed. It was actually the belonging of this person, food that was decomposing under the extreme heat inside and poor cleaning habits. The floor of the room is carpet which is never vacuumed, so it smells very bed like dirt, dust and mud. This carper is wet,moisture and they try to hide its bad smell by turning the heat extremely high all the time. When is not raining outside this carpet is dry and smell like dirt. The hostel vibe is very poor. The lady next to me was a homeless lady renting the bed, Her belonging were smelling very strongly. This lady had meat inside her bed which was decomposing with the heat and smelling extremely bad. I requested assistance at the reception, where two arabic males insist that they are the managers and the owners said"we are going to check it!" They come in the room and took the trash from the toilet, then insisted that is clean and they DO not smell anything! The receptionist said, sorry we are polite here, we CAN`T FORSE people to shower. Yes we know her she smell but there is nothing we can do! Regarding the food consumption also no rules! We can`t forbid people to eat in the bed! It was horrible nightmare to be there. I was looking for a flight back. I look to rent other hostel but last minute they were all full. I requested to be moved or reimbursed. The two arabic males refuse, saying NO! You paid, that`s it! I did rent another hotel for the next 3 nights, and only come on sunday to take some clothes. It was exactly the same anti sanitary mess. It seam they did not have cleaning stuff. Other visitors vibe at the hostel. Drunk and arrogant visitors who fail on you and act like is funny. The hostel have 1 very small elevator and a very dangerous tide staircase. Although I was there for very short minutes 2 times a drunk males fall on me , two different males. It seams this is plase for drug addict, substance abusers and just crocks. They are no rules. Last night I went back to the hostel at 9.30 pm and left at 3 am. It was less stinky and the homeless women was gone. This stay was equal to nightmare. Afterwords they send me a survey which I honestly fill out. They send me an email arguing and telling me that I must proof them something. Make me feel very uncomfortable. I do not recommend. Fake reviews. I would add some pictures but the features are disabled on the Google maps.
