Vorsicht Abzocke! Lage ist super, self-check-in ist top. Sanitäranlagen sind sauber. Das Hostel hat uns leider die Gebühren die ich vorab über die Website bezahlt, nochmal in Rechnung gestellt. Sowohl Personal als auch Hostelbesitzer haben nicht verstanden dass bei der Website vorab schon eine Vorauszahlung getätigt wird und sie mir deswegen nochmal in Rechnung gestellt. Habe sowas noch nie erlebt! (Und auf dem Gang riecht es nach stinkenden Füßen).

Friends hostel was a good spot to stay in Budapest. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the kitchen was a bonus. There were no communal areas and no activities or events on which didn't reflect the images on the listing. There was absolutely no atmosphere or vibe, mainly due to the fact that there was nowhere to hang out. The staff were not usually available so we had difficulty properly checking in .

The location is perfect for exploring Budapest. Unfortunately our mattress was bashed in the centre, so we woke up multiple times and in the morning we had a bad back pain. We told one of the staff members but they didn't say anything about it. We are disappointed about this because having a bed were you can rest should be the least. I hope they'll fix it. The common bathrooms weren't very practical in my opinion, because there weren't any hooks or shelves apart from the towel radiator.

Everything ist nice, except for the weird smell in some of the common areas.

Las habitaciones y las zonas comunes no estaban demasiado limpias ni bien cuidadas. El punto más positivo del hostel es que está bien ubicado.

We spent two nights in the first floor which had a very cosy, modern interior design and was clean. The only con was that our room was facing the main street so it was very loud, even with the windows closed. The last night we spent on the second floor which had a grandma like design. Sadly, the shared shower was full of mold on the side and general cleanliness was poor. If you have a choice, request to stay in the first floor.

hostel was lovely , we stayed in a private twin room which was really cosy. we originally struggled to get into the property because of doing self check in at a later hour which was a bit stressful. other than that all was good! will come back

This was a wonderful hostel! We booked a private room for 2, and honestly I was very surprised at the quality of the room compared with the price. Very affordable, and we got a clean room with a private bathroom. Wasn't anything fancy, but we didn't need that. Felt secure and it was in a good location, only a short metro ride or 25 minute walk to the river. The only thing was that there was no 24 hour reception, and so we had a short check-in and out window. But overall, very good hostel!

Friends was perfect for us, very self contained rooms with kitchen and bathrooms close by. Perfect location near Cafés, shops, and bridges over the Danube. There is an old but adequate lift and a large secure courtyard for bikes. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Very happy with our stay! We booked a private room with a shared bathroom. Everything was clean and newly renovated. The temperature was nice and warm which was great since the weather outside was freezing. Great value! Would stay here again!

Tuvimos algun problema a la llegada ya que no nos llego email con instrucciones para la entrada. Lo solucionaron al momento.

We thank all the staff of the hostel for their understanding and courtesy. The hostel has an excellent location. It's clean, safe and homely. Thanks a lot.
