Very old and dirty
Chambre "privée" censée être avec deux lits 1 place, finalement est un dortoir en lits superposés !! Ça n'est pas précisé dans l'annonce, et tout est fait dans la limite du correct. (Obligé de laisser des PLN sur la table pour le "checkout") encore faudrait il qu'il y ait eu un check in ! Personne sur place, et des salles de bains pas très clean. Je n'y retournerai pas.
"Private" room supposed to be with two beds 1 place, finally is a dormitory with bunk beds !! this is not specified in the ad, and everything is done within the limits of the correct. (obliged to leave PLN on the table for "checkout") still would need to have been a check in ! nobody on site, and bathrooms not very clean. i will not go back there.
The location and staff is great but the cleaning leaves much to be desired.
It was very empty literally no one not even a reception. Felt dirty and not a functioning kitchen, which was disappointing
Najbardziej rzucającą się w oczy i uniemożliwiającą komfortowy pobyt był brud. Mój pokój jak i łazienki wyglądały jakby to goście musieli dbać o czystość w hostelu, brak oznak serwisu sprzątającego - na podłodze w pokoju śmieci zostawione po innych gościach, pod łóżkami ewidentnie śmieci sprzed dłuższego okresu czasu. Na materacach i prześcieradle okruchy i włosy. Rozumiem minimum życiowe za tak niską cenę na jedną noc, ale chciałabym widzieć że ktoś chocia...
My room and bathrooms looked like guests had to take care of the cleanliness in the hostel, no sign of a cleaning service - on the floor in the room the garbage was left on other guests, under the beds obviously the garbage was spread over a long period of time. On the mattresses I had crumbly sheets and hair. I understand the living minimum for such a low price for one night, but I would like to see someone at least strain a little.
Quaint property that I wouldn’t really call a hostel, more like a one story apartment. Out of the main areas and all self-directed service. Good facilities and clean though
Owner needs to hire staff; facilities need a remodel. Reception was nonexistent even on a Saturday afternoon; room and bedding smelled of mildew (there were several lavender sachets on top of the radiator, presumably to mitigate this; didn’t work.) My mattress had a cover on it but the bottom of the mattress above me had some mildly alarming stains (I didn’t see any bed bugs, but feel like I need to be vigilant for a couple of weeks). Perfect location with a kind and helpful host. However the facility is due a major overhaul (bathrooms, kitchen, beds, curtains) and thus appears run down. Cleanliness below standard and personnally not acceptable. We booked late and Krakow was fully booked due to the marathon that weekend. Hostel looked like the perfect value for your money deal but we still felt that we paid to much. There is no reception. A lot of noise from the street at night; poorly insulated windows + thin/ripped curtains

the hotel owner was a legend made it for a really great time for us made us feel welcome. would recommend this hostel to everyone and anyone
We really loved our time here, the host is a really genuine and kind man. He speaks both Polish and English fluently, not sure what other languages. We got lucky with not getting roommates, but the hostel was clean and quiet during our stay. Very close to bus routes, restaurants, etc.

I spent three days at ARS Hostel and was satisfied with everything. The location is very central, check-in went smoothly, rooms were clean. Of course, it is not a luxury, accommodation, but probably the best deal you can get for this price, not to mention that Slawek, the owner is a really cool guy. Can recommend wholeheartedly.
I recently stayed at this hostel, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The owner is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met—his hosting skills are impeccable. Great hostel option, near everything important in Krakow, the owner is super nice, helpful and has a really good English. Would come back 100%.
We have stayed at ARS Hostel for 2 nights and it was the best hostel experience by far.. The owner was a legend, we started making jokes in the first few minutes. Location is just amazing, close to everything in Krakow. Price for value also very very good. Would recommend every time!
The host was great! I highly recommend it. Very nice people and a great restaurant downstairs with gluten free, vegetarian options. Cannot recommend enough!!

We had an amazing time at this hostel, the owner was very nice and helpful. the location was perfect. Prices were great as well! i would definitely stay here again.
Slawek is an amazing host. He did everything for me to feel comfortable during my stay. The location is perfect to explore both the Old Town and Kazimierz. Highly recommended.
Slawek is so lovely! We had a group of 20 people, and he was incredibly generous and a great host. He gave us great recommendations of places to go and foods to try, and was all-round a very inviting host. Everyone in our group is already chatting about coming back and staying with Slawek again!

I’m very impressed with the service, and the stay in general. I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone staying in krakow and I think it is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in.
