When we got here there was no one at the reception so we couldn't enter. When we got inside the beds weren't made, we had to wait a long time. The sheets and laundry we gave them smelled really bad. The shower doesn't always work, so they give you a hose... They also gave us the wrong directions on how to get to Suchitoto with the local buses. Overall, the place was pretty dirty. I don't blame the staff, who were very sweet and helpful, just the organization and cleanliness of this hostel.
Did not spend much time here, it felt dirty, shower was not ideal having to use a garden hose. A/C in our room was a nice treat, and common chilling space has potential.
The location is great and cannot be beat. The guy who owns the hostel was really friendly and full of recommendations. One note, we booked a private room with Ensuite but the room description wording was a little misleading. It says it is shared with another private bedroom, but it's not, it connects to the living room which allows every hostal guest to use it. It also felt it was not cleaned for our 4 day stay.
no AC so really difficult to sleep through the night & only 1 shower for the all the dorms. other than that, great location, kitchen with utensils to use & staff were all lovely 😁
Mitarbeiter*in waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit allerdings kaum im Hostel. Betten sehr durchgelegen, keine Möglichkeit Sachen Abzuschließen. Lage ins Stadtzentrum als auch zu den Bussen für Tagesausflüge top.

The staff are very helpful however there is no air con or hot water. The sun shines on the private room all day so it is boiling and the fans they gave us were bad. The communal shower is bad very weak. The kitchen is well stocked and the location is good. However you can find much cheaper options and I wouldn’t say it’s worth paying more to stay here
Die Lage ist top, aber es ist halt an der lauten Hauptstraße und man kann die Fenster nicht schließen. Man kann wirklich nicht schlafen weil es SO laut ist. Wir mussten Unterkunft wechseln weil es wirklich zu laut war. Sonst nette Unterkunft, geräumig und sauber
The location is great, but it's on the noisy Main Street and you can't close the windows. You really can't sleep because it's SO loud. We had to change accommodation because it was really too loud. Otherwise nice accommodation, spacious and clean.
The private room says it has a private en-suite which is not the case. You share it with another room which isn’t advertised. Also the windows in the room allows rain to fall on the bed. Kitchen needs basic things like cupboards / anything as it was nasty and stored all of its things on the floor basically. No vibe and staff wasn’t really around for the 2 days we were there. Cons: the only 2 toilets feel very exposed, the doors don’t offer any privacy and they’re both right where people eat/do their dishes. Overall low standard, feels like they just gave up on the place. Power outlets stopped working and no one fixed them. Limited space to hang out if it rains. No hot water in shower so it’s a bit rough to shower in the evening after a long day. The area outside the bathrooms is quite dirty and run down. The shower is a hose hanging from the ceiling. It was quite hot and there is only one or two rotating fans in the dorm rooms. It would be nice if there were individual fans. It’s a relatively new hostel, but with a little more work it could be a great place to stay.

This is a really nice hostel. I planned to stay 2 nights, but then I extended. There are a lot of chill areas, a nice kind of inside garden, and the location is super good; just a view minutes walking from the old town, and everything is closeby. The people working there are very friendly and gave me many tips about what to do and where to go.
I really really enjoyed my stay here! Would definitely recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for a chill hostel with a homey atmosphere! Also, it’s very clean, there’s a nice kitchen and the staff are super friendly:)
Das Hostel ist sauber, schön gestaltet und die Besitzer sind super nett und hilfsbereit! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super gut!!

Boendet ligger väldigt centralt och har bra med information om du vill gå på walking tour, göra andra turer eller vilken linje du behöver ta med chicken buss! Rummen var bra, sängarna var däremot väldigt mjuka. Det är ett mindre hostel men väldigt mysigt och fräscht kök! Det enda negativa var att de inte svarade på WhatsApp när man skrev till de.
The hostel is very centrally located and has good information if you want to go on a walking tour, do other tours or which line you need to take with chicken bus! the rooms were good, the beds were very nice. it is a smaller hostel but very cozy and fresh cuisine! the only negative was that they did not answer on whatsapp when you wrote till de.

had a private room, which shares the bathroom, but the room has a door to the bathroom so you can hear everything going on in there. also the windows face a communal area so privacy is not reaaalllyy given

Good: The clue is in the name - one of the chillest places I’ve stayed. Really calm environment. Washing service was great and a good price. The staff - Marlon is wonderful and we went to a local football game with him. We felt so welcome in Santa Ana. Thanks Marlon! Not so good: The bunk bed in the 4 person dorm could use a bit of TLC - the slats are broken and the whole bed shakes when the other person moves a small bit. Door doesn’t shut. Big curtains, bed lamp and lockers would help.
Super chill, super safe. The owner is a so kind and helpful. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean.
Really liked the atmosphere, great location
really good value hostel! danilo was super helpful and nice, we did a papusa making class at his mums house which i would highly recommend! dorms were decent, location was really good near loads of bars/restaurants and the market. not hugely social but we met some people so was still a nice time. loads of posters for events in the reception and a helpful chalkboard with bus information. we were running late for our check in and danilo emailed me to check everything was okay. would stay again!
Lovely stay here. Right in the centre of town and near big markets, but nice and quiet at night. Danilo is a lovely guy and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay and provided lots of help if we needed it! He offered laundry service also which was great. Great place to stay in Santa Ana!
It’s a nice small hostel. Easy walking distance of everything you need. Nice atmosphere. Helpful staff.
