Urban Nest Hostel

Urban Nest is okay but nothing special. The beds are fine and the privacy curtains help, but no outlets or reading lights made it hard to see anything at night. The main issue was the mosquitoes there were a ton of them and sleep was rough since I kept waking up with bites and repellent didn’t help. Other than that, the staff is helpful and they organize a lot of events.

Im ganzen gutes Hostel. Aber würde niemals Frühstück buchen, mussten 45 min warten, weil das Personal einfach andere die ganze Zeit bedient hat und dann auch echt unfreundlich war. (Dunkelhaarige Frau) Der Rest des Personals also die Jungs alle sehr korrekt. Frühstück leider auch echt nicht gut. Die kuscheldecken werden auch nicht frisch gewaschen und oben gab es nur ein Bad für 16 Leute…

Very basic hostel, not really social, and not the best facilities. Super convenient that you can rent a scooter from Santa Ana and drop it here. Personele is super kind and helpfull!

The accommodation has a great location for surfing and is right in the pedestrian zone. The reception is practically in the pedestrian area and consists of just one chair — it’s almost impossible to spot 😅 The terrace is great for relaxing. Unfortunately, the kitchen and the fridge were very dirty. The dorms are very small and cramped, and the beds aren’t made for tall people. Overall, the stay was very nice.

positives- very friendly helpful staff perfect location just off the main square good hub to do daytrips and very social but not too loud (popusa making class was great!) social areas nice negatives- the noise in the rooms was awful from the main road and we had 4 terrible nights sleep- so loud earplugs don’t help. the deluxe dorms are in a quieter part! cold showers and bathrooms could have been cleaner

Good: Hostel was pretty social. Staff was nice. They had a lot of information about area Bad: bathrooms were pretty dirty. The dorm rooms are next to a super busy street and the windows stay open (even in ac room) so you hear trucks passing all night.

Good hostel in great location. However, bunk beds felt a bit unstable and was very noisy at night in the room we were in (as the room was by the main road)

Jonah & the other staff was super friendly & the location was great! This could be an amazing hostel! Sadly it was super dirty especially in the bathroom! If you choose the room with 4 beds be prepared, that your bathroom doesn‘t get cleaned.

This place is everything a hostel should be! The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There are lots of activities organised and things you can join in on, but the vibe is still really chill. Quiet times are adhered to and the bathroom bins are emptied several times a day. Bins are emptied frequently and bathrooms and kitchen are clean. Very social without being a party hostel. They can organise tours and shuttles for you too. Loved my stay here!

Hermoso hostel con espacios muy lindos y cuidados, amplios. La cocina muy grande y completa. La limpieza excelente.

Ich hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt. Für ein noch sichereres Gefühl wäre es aus meiner Sicht gut, wenn der Haupteingang nachts konsequent verschlossen ist. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Hostel bietet tolle Aktivitäten an, und ich hatte insgesamt eine sehr schöne Zeit. Ich komme gerne wieder.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I met some of the best people here. I appreciated the fact there was such a great atmosphere and vibe, whilst it not feeling like a crazy vibe, it definitely was the sweet spot. Great terrace and chill area. I would stay here again. The ends were cozy.

Staff were great and they offer great activities. Alexi is so lovely and kind & Geo’s talks and tours connected to the hostel are great. It’s a bit rough round the edges but it’s inexpensive so you get what you pay for. No complaints really!

Great hostel! Stayed in a private room with AC which was great value. The showers were strong, very clean and well stocked with shower gel and shampoo. The kitchen is really big and very well equipped.

Best hostel in Santa Ana, staff is great, volunteers great, motorcycle tour is 10/10. The talks and tours with Gio were also really informative and fun.

Loved staying at this hostel. The staff were so friendly and they hosted lots of great social activities. My partner and I stayed in a private room which was really clean and spacious. The communal spaces and bathrooms were also really clean and tidy.

Great hostel in the city center of Santa Ana. A lot of great activities offered by the hostel, and helpful staff when it comes to organizing transportation etc. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable, although the dorm without ac had very bad air and was hot all day. The common areas were great to relax, would definitely come again!
