Bui Vien Street Hostel

Hatte kein Fenster (sah aus wie im Bunker), vermutlich Bettwanzen, alles war nicht wirklich sauber, Frühstück oke, Confiture hatte Tiere (Käfer) Personal nett, gute Lage (kommt vieles zu Fuss)

I slept there 1night , and there was bedbugs in my bed , I went down to recprtion and they downgraded me from 4beda room to 8beda room , and next day the reception they just have said “sorry” , and this not the end , cancelled my booking as I did not show up , it was so mean and rude ,even I did not say anything, also I came first time at night 4am and I find out the out door closed , 2nd they have no storage room , so basically you drop your bags in the main entrance

rooms are so hot, smelly and run down. the club next door plays loud music until 6am. it's so loud you can't sleep even with earplugs. staff seemed friendly.

wouldn't be a bad little hostel if it wasn't for the nightclub next door. If you plan on trying to sleep before 3am I'd give this place a miss. if you plan on going out every night and won't be around for the music it's a decent little spot.

Sweet staff, great location, and nice facilities. Would not recommend in early 2023 because of deafening construction noise starting at 7am. Also my locker had no key :/

If you have not planned to sleep could be ok. But there is a night club near the place and the sound is very high. Defenitly my worst night of all my time in Vietnam

Personally, if you want a good sleep I would not stay here unless you’re one of them people who can fall asleep to anything. There is a club few doors down so you can feel the vibrations until 4am. If you’re going to go out out it’s ideal as the strip is a few mins walk away. The beds are spacious, we were a group of 5 and only got one locker provided. I didn’t sleep much at a time I needed sleep so yeah I wouldn’t recommend.

Even though we had told the hostel early that we would be arriving late and left a deposit on the room, they gave away our room. They also gave away our reservation for the next night as well. They talk about a bar that is not actually constructed or operating. Do not stay here as they do not care about you, they just care about filling as many beds as possible and taking as much money as possible. Do not recommend.

The staff were really friendly and nice. However, I think that the reason this hostel has good reviews is pretty much down to the nice staff and the free beer, because the bathroom is dirty, no hand soap (red flag) and the shower was cold for the 4 nights that we stayed. (I told staff on the first day). The roof bar and rooms are pretty run down, but the sleeping pods are nice and I appreciated the towel. Not the best but not the worst!

Great beds, but you could hear the beat from the nightclub nearby every night from 10am till 5am, despite earplugs.

Really cool place in a really cool spot. Nam was an amazing host. Everything you need he helped with and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone solo travelling in HCMC

I had a lovely stay at the hostel. Close to restaurants and bars. It can be a bit noisy in the night, with the walking street so close by, so take note on that. Nam the receptionist really went out of his way to help me find good restaurants, book them for me and my friends. There was always a friendly face waiting at the hostel. Thanks for the nice stay and see you!

Had an amazing stay! The employees were super helpful and kind, the rooms were very clean and the beds really nice too. The location is also perfect, would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location and the staff is great as well. Rooftop karaoke and card games to kick off the nights were really fun. Will be coming back.

Very comfortable hostel with nice hosts who made us feel welcome and brought the vibes. Hostel is quite small so it felt like one big familiy every evening when we went to the rooftop for the free beer. Would recommend!! 🥰

This hostel is a great choice for staying at if visiting Ho Chi Minh City. My bed was comfortable and the room was clean with decent air conditioning. The rooftop in the evenings always had people to speak to and the free beer per night is a nice touch. The best part about my stay were the staff, who were all friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. Thank you to Nam, Anna, Cece and barman Huy!

Personel çok cana yakın, aile dostu gibi karşıladılar. Hepsine çok teşekkürler. Konum olarak süper, walking street’in dibinde. Ho Şi Min mozelasına, posta ofisine, kilise ve kitap fuarına hava güzelse yürüyerek gidilebilir. Marketlere de yakın. Yataklar çok rahat ve çok kullanışlı ama her odada tek tuvalet olduğu için birazcık bekleyebilirsiniz. Çok rahat ortamı var, parti hostelleri gibi kuru gürültü ve kalabalık yok. Çatı katı barı da çok güzeldi.

Clean and comfortable hostel. You have a shelf on your bed for clothes. That thing was very useful. The stuff is amazing, even they let me watch my football team’s match on the rooftop. Highly recommend this hostel.

Great hostel, great atmosphere. Clean and affordable. Free breakfast in the morning is always a plus and that free cold beer in the evening after a hot day running is great. Nam, Anna and CeeCee are excellent people and run the hostel well. 10/10 will recommend

The best hostel I’ve stayed in in Vietnam. The staff are friendly and generous and super laid back. I extended 4 nights. Nam is a great host, he makes an effort to remember your name, give recommendations and look after you. The rooftop is super social and all the staff get involved too. Would definitely stay here again
