MovyLodge Hostel

First things first: the Hostel is located pretty close to the Train Station and in walking distance to MBK and Siam Center - getting around and going shopping is pretty easy to do. Staff is also very friendly and keen to help you out. Sadly, all These things don‘t make up for the toilets and showers being covered with black mold. The Hostel advertised with comfortable beds, which were nowhere to be found as the mattress was rock solid.

Staff are not welcoming or particularly helpful - bad attitudes. Bathroom was dirty. Breakfast was ok. Dryer was broken. Charged extra for upgraded room which was exactly the same as normal dorm. Near the tram stop was the only positive.

The current state is not represented anymore in the fotos shown. The facilities are ok, but not as good as indicated. No social interaction at the hostel. Overall ok.

Tiny ants throughout the rooms. The bathroom stalls on the women’s floor have almost zero distance from the toilet to the door. I had the pee with the door open for comfort. Our rooms had stained curtains from a leak. The kitchen had an odor. You can’t feel the air from the bed so it’s a hot sleep. The dryer barely dries the clothes. You are close the metro and malls. They did provide hangers that hang in the lockers so that was nice..

This hostel was just ok. The beds were clean but the bathrooms are tiny and need to be updated. The breakfast is fine but very basic. I found it difficult to meet others here, everyone just seems to sit around on their phones and are not inclined nor encouraged to socialize. I guess you simply get what you pay for here and nothing more.

Beetje rare sfeer, onvriendelijk en gehaast personeel. Het raarste vond ik dat er achter de incheck balie een scherm staat met daarop camerabeelden van alle dorms gewoon op bedden gericht, voelt niet prettig.

Location is on the airport sky train link. But not a huge amount else around! Found staff all very unfriendly, Wouldn’t even acknowledge you stood right in front of them. Beds are rock solid! Like sleeping on a pavement! Sound pretty unclean to be honest. Same dirty carrier bag was left in the shower tray for 2 days. Bathrooms need a deep clean and probably some work doing. Everything is very small. Toilet cubicles TINY, shower cubicles and rooms all very small no room to move.

things are generally passable but the only thing is to have one male shower cubicle for the entire hostel is quite ridiculous. Also the 6 bedder we stayed in was really cramped, the gap betwen the two double bunks were like 40cm tops

Hostel had a fantastic location. Close enough to the malls to walk there, and also really close to the BTS skytrain. Beds were comfortable enough and included breakfast was pretty good. Only downside was that the toilet cubicles were a tight fit. The door touched my knees as soon as I sat down. Not suitable for tall people.

The front desk lady is not very welcoming or helpful. From the moment we checked in, we felt a weird vibe from her. We tried ordering coffee, but she didn’t accept our order because supposedly others ordered ahead of us and it was 3 minutes before 9AM. Also, the bathrooms could be more kept up. There was hair and mold. The breakfast is very basic. Also, the walls in the private room should be washed. This place is good if it’s your last choice.

The hostel was located well for access to the airport, however, our room had a funny smell that permeated - smelled spoiled and would not go away. The bedroom and bathroom were ok for the cost. The staff were friendly and the main area was really lovely!

Très bon hostel, très bien pour aller à l’aéroport ! Environnement pas très sociable mais cela ne m’a pas dérangé. Toujours un peu de bazar dans l’entrée avec plein de bagages et d’outils

Seems like a great place for digital nomads. The staff didn’t seem to know too much about transport options outside of Bangkok

I booked a 8 dorm, bed was comfy and had lockers, plenty of space. mixed bathroom-showers, breakfast was good. location, a bit far away from center but very good connected. not ver social hostel, but okey for a solo travelltraveller

Really cool hostel. Close to the sky-train and coffee shops. Breakfast was included and good. Not for solo-travelers who look for other people.

在Phaya Thai及Ratchathewi中間，地理位置非常方便，附近也有不少cafe可以嘗試。旅館也有很多本地泰國人租住，每個間隔都有簾子擋住，私隱度高。澡室夠大，洗澡不用等候。只是室友實在令人失望，早上5點鬧鐘開始響，響大概30分鐘都沒有關掉。凌晨兩點收拾行李….除了這些聲音打擾，其他的都很好！

Très bon hôtel dans l'ensemble. pour moi les points forts étaient : le petit déjeuné inclus, la possibilité de faire une machine à laver, l'emplacement. Il est bien placé pour arriver depuis les deux aéroports. Le personnel est sympathique et l'espace commun est agréable.

Such a nice hostel. From the moment I walked in, it felt comfortable. The facilities are nice and clean. The breakfast in the morning is delicious. The staff is so welcoming! They asked me to join them for hot-pot the first night. After that joined them for dinner every night.

Very clean and cozy hostel! Not a social one, but if you want to stay one or two calm nights and work or just visit Bangkok on your own it’s great.

This hostel has good value for your money, if you're looking for a clean, quiet hostel with a free breakfast. It had everything we needed, nothing more. During our stay, the coffee shop had a k-pop fan meet. Because of it, we felt like we weren't welcome and the staff were overly occupied with the event. It was just weird the staff didn't inform us of it. We were a little worried about security, but the dorm had lockers etc. So it was fine. Overall a nice and clean hostel!
