Sagres Sun Stay

Showers are not included, they make you pay €1 to use the shower. And you aren't allowed to use the kitchen between 11pm and 8:30am, even to get a glass of water. Honestly really weird things, considering that it would otherwise be a really nice hostel.

The hostel had a private event which meant no guests could use the majority of the common areas. The bar, pool and restaurant area was all closed. The toilets and bathrooms were clean but didn’t expect to be limited to a 10 minute shower with a token or have to pay €1 per 10 minutes. The hostel was very cold and the blanket didn’t keep me warm at night.

Très cher pour ce que ça vaux. Nous sommes parties avec des puces de lit. Le bus qui revient nous chercher a la plage était en retard de beaucoup de temps. Mais bon petit déjeuner.

Prima hostel, fijne open (buiten)ruimte, prima tijd gehad. Ontbijt is goed verzorgd. Mogelijkheid om fiets etc te huren. Locatie ok. Zwembad kleiner dan de foto doet vermoeden en alle bedjes snel bezet. Keuken pas om half 9 open, eerder zou fijn zijn. Best warm op de kamer, maar te doen.

Vile ham in breakfast line. Nothing special. Expensive equipment rentals. Common kitchen has no stove and very few necessities for the potential amount of guests staying here. You can find closer hostels to the beach.

rooms arent so clean, bathroom and shower smells, far from city center, there are almost no social activities. it's just a place to spend the night but nothing more. also, they give you a token per day to shower for 10 minutes and if you want to shower longer you have to pay 1 Euro for another token. this is ridiculous. it's better to charge 5 Euro more for a room then to limit your guests like that. i will not come back.

Schedule optimised for party people. Late breakfast and the kitchen is even locked until 8:30, you can't get your stuff from the fridge. Rooms with some drawer under the bed but no chair, no hook, nothing, window ins form is blocked totally.looks nice but wouldn't recommend for hiking.

Was okay. But didn’t experienced this Hostel as very social. There was no community space and many people where more on their own. Events that where announced didn’t took place.

The management somehow decided that everyone only needs a 10 min shower per day and if you need to shower a couple of times a day or need more time to get the sand off, you simply need to pay

Tutti stanchi dalla giornata di surf, si fatica a parlare con le altre persone presenti. La cucina è poco equipaggiata (p.ex.: una sola padella molto rovinata). Con il bel tempo magari meglio (piscina).

Tout est propre. Le déjeuner offert est bon. Les employés sont tous très gentils.

Abends nett in der Hostel Bar zusammen gesessen und gespielt. Wirklich empfehlenswert!

sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal Küche teils nicht sehr sauber

Eigentlich alles vorhanden was man braucht und auch schön gemacht. Großer Supermarkt in der Nähe.Leider keine schöne Atmosphäre aber vielleicht lag es auch daran, dass noch nicht so viel los war. Leider sehr weit außerhalb von Sagres

the best accommodation on our trek Fischermen's Trail, 2 adults and 2 children , 2 private rooms . For us perfect

Cute little hostel. Was there in the winter/off season so wasn’t a lot of people in the hostel/Sagres in general, but I can imagine in peak season it’s the place to be. Great breakfast, staff are friendly and super accomodating, rooms and showers are all you need. :)

Freakin dickin Awsome hostel! The vibe is everything and the pool area is incredible. Sagres itself is great and if you want to go someplace else it's a short walk to a bus stop. I love it.

Sleeping quarters were bloody hot. Other than that, place was clean, facilities nice. I enjoyed my time here.

Gutes Hostel mit entspanntem sportlichem Vibe, ideal für Surfer. Der Pool ist ein Plus, die Küche eher naja, wie wir mitbekommen haben, sorgt das Team Abends aber für ein bisschen Ordnung. Zimmer sind ohne Klima und dadurch oft sehr stickig. Das Bad ist eher knapp (für die Frauen waren es nur je 4 Duschen und 4 WCs). Zum Strand läuft man etwa 20–25 Minuten, ein großer Supermarkt ist gleich um die Ecke (5 Min). Perfekt, wenn man viel draußen unterwegs ist und das Surfen liebt.

This place had a strange vibe. I feel the owner / staff had a lot to do with it. It felt everyone there was I. Their tight nit groups and social events at the hostel just never happened. For example the pool party just never happened and it was really disappointing. Breakfast good. Bathrooms strange - I feel serving meat and offering a 10 minute shower per token is just not good enough to say you are environmentally conscious. Who takes a 10 minute shower? It’s just a way to limit showering

Nice surf hostel, met the best people there. Wouldn’t recommend eating at the hostel restaurant. The kitchen is fine, but I‘ve seen better ones. Breakfast was included and amazing, so much to choose from.

Great stay and met amazing people, the vibe is really great when it comes to the people staying there. The restaurants serves nice and healthy food for not a lot of money. The activities at night but you’ll still meet nice people going there.

Bathrooms were a little weird but all in all a really great stay!!

Nice Hostel! 15 min walk to the beach. Comfy beds. Good kitchen.

Solid place. Everything was clean. Breakfast was simple but good. Laundry was convenient (€5 to waSh and €5 to dry but you can hang dry and save money) The pool was great. Kind of odd to have party events every night while also hosting family friendly vibes in the private rooms that overlooked the pool and party area? Maybe choose one vibe or the other… Overall I’d stay here again. Volunteers were super seeet and ready to hang out and go to the bars. Location is mid but that’s just Sag...
