BED BUGS - this was a nightmare to be honest. First, I broke my toe slipping on the slick service outside my room where they don't mop up water from the pool. 30 minutes later I discovered both mattresses in my 4 bed (which is connected by a sliding door to another dorm where bugs can easily travel) had BED BUGS. In my 85+ hostels I've never encountered this. The staff was very friendly (Cecelia and Sofia), but ultimately there's no social atmosphere here and I would not recommend for a solo traveler, nor is the risk of bed bugs (they didn't warn the other rooms) worth it.
