Hostel Dakura

Bad smell, bad atmosphere. Old matrassen, smelly rooms, worst kitchen. Common rooms were creepy and not a place where you'd want to hang out. You hear people walk and talk in the hallway and the doors do not lock (no card system or smth) so it feels like anyone can come in at night. The bathroom floors were nasty. Showers were OK but there was also some mold. Would not recommend staying here on your own.

Ha sido el sitio mas cutre en el que he dormido en mi vida, un vagabundo en la puerta del mercadona tiene mejor colchon que este sitio. Los baños podrian ser los baños de un centro comercial, las puertas tan viejas que ni si quiera cerraban del todo. La localización es bastante mala y las calles dan un poco de miedo por la noche. En general el edificio estaba ultra cutre y habia 0 privacidad en los baños.

Do not stay here. Walls are paper thin, can heat everyone outside at every hour of the night, they don’t lock the kitchen so people stay in there all night drinking and talking. The kitchen is located right beside the bedrooms. This place isn’t vintage, it’s just old. Two toilets and two showers on each floor which are mostly not clean. The doors can be opened just by pulling down the handle even when they are locked so the security is not good at all. Tried to complain about noise outside...

La verdad que no me gustó para nada el hostel, no tienen ningún tipo de seguridad las habitaciones mas que una endeble puerta, que se cierra con llave, por lo que si tu o alguna de tus compañeras no la cierra, cualquiera puede entrar. Estancia poco cuidada, a demás de haber 2 baños y 2 duchas para toda la planta, y que no transmitían mucha confianza. La limpieza de las habitaciones es superficial y mínima. Una decepción.

Facilities were nice, one member of staff at reception was very welcoming another was not so helpful. Key broke and there was nobody at reception to help so I had to wait until the morning. A friend couldn’t find a wallet and the lady at reception was not very helpful.

The staff is super friendly and nice and the private room where I stayed was clean. The hostel is situated in an inconvenient place since you have to walk for more than 15 minutes from the city center. Bathrooms on second floor weren’t properly clean as I found mould in the showers, but on the ground floor they were super clean and less old-fashioned. The biggest con was absolutely the kitchen. It was convenient having a place to cook meals but all the stoves were dirty, there weren’t even t...

Struttura lontana dal casino della città, tranquilla. Spazi comuni carini e attrezzati.

Ruhige Lage, mit der Möglichkeit in die Innenstadt zu kommen. Nähe mit dem Rad zur Moldau. Nette Servicekräfte. Es wäre schön, wenn die Fußböden nicht retro wären. Es war doch ziemlich laut über mir und man konnte auch nicht durch das Zimmer schleichen, ohne dass der Schrank geknarrt hat. Zudem waren am Anreisetag alle Betten belegt. Zudem wäre nachts zumindest ein Wachdienst nett, der Menschen die meinen laut sein zu müssen, des Hostels verweist.

it’s an okay place. very well located by transport and close to the castle. it was pretty clean and everything was functional. downsides are not that many showers/bathrooms per floor, minimally equipped kitchens and not that much social life. but there are nice rooms to hangout and a nice garden. it’s good if you want a quiet stay.

We had a very nice stay here, we weren't really looking to be very social so it was perfect for us. The center was easily accessible using public transportation so the location was pretty good as well, overall for what we paid it was a really good stay and I would stay here again :)

It was nice having a hostile outside the touristy part, but close enough to walk. The room was comfortable and I slept very well. The water pressure was lavish and everything was clean. Definitely would stay again.

Overall pretty good, and I enjoyed the vintage decor. Friendly staff, and they have the type of scales where you can weigh your bag by lifting it, so convenient for peace of mind before going to the airport. The only thing I do have a slight complaint about is that my room was described on Hostelworld as "Standard Twin Room Private Shared Bathroom", but no private bathroom (although I guess I should've expected that)

This was my first hostel so didn't have too high of expectations. Staff were AMAZING! The only issue I would say and it's not too big of a deal as I was with another girl but a mixed dorm was all men which made us a little uncomfortable. We had assumed mixed would be quite equal in genders. But otherwise happy to stay again.

Very nice and tidy room, which are kept perfectly clean. The 3 person rooms were absolutely perfect to stay and enjoy some quiet time. On the other hand, the room outside left opportunities to connect! Really nice stay within reach of most of Prague with metro, tram and even walking!

It’s an okay hostel, good if you’re on a budget. My main issue was that the showers had a roughly 1.5cm gap in the side of the cubicle door, which wouldn’t be so much of an issue if I didn’t keep finding men using the women’s toilets (where the showers also are) due to a lack of clear signage. There are signs earlier on the corridor but if you’re staying in a room after those then you don’t see it, but with a gap that can very easily be seen through, this signage needs to be cleare...

The receptionists were very very kind. I was late by 10 mins for their closein time yet they still waited for me. Easily accesible by tram. Everything was great and clean. Nice Kitchen as well. Not too social if you are looking for that. Overall I employed my stay!

Good sizeable private room. No en-suite. Shared bathrooms were fine. Location only okay. Good value for money.

Very beautiful hostel that is more like a hotel. Especially appreciated the en-suite bathroom. But staff seemed confused a lot of the time and the location was not that good, and there was zero social atmosphere at all. Liked the place and thought it was cute overall.

Good place if searching for value for money. Hostel was run-down and very old (slightly scary) decor around the common areas. Not a very welcoming atmosphere. Kitchen on each floor was appreciated although it was not brilliantly equipped. Rooms again could do with an upgrade but did the job for the price! Good location - well connected with the centre of Prague (5 minute walk to tram) and many shops etc around. Safe enough area which is always good.
