I booked a private room but I think that's overpriced for what you get. The room overall was dirty and the bathroom smelled bad. Did meet nice people there so staying in the dorm might be better considering the price

The doors slide too far, so even when you shut it, anybody can fit a hand in through the side - not to mention the mosquitoes. We got bit A LOT. There is no safe in the room, so leaving any valuables there didn't seem like an option. Also, the door doesn't lock from the inside, so you have to sleep with only a small hasp between you and the rest of Yogyakarta. The rooms are EXTREMELY loud - you hear every word of the convo next door. The mosque wakes you up at 4:30.

Some of my friends had to go find another hotel because they've been told its ok to extend but never wrote it anywhere so it got booked out and they had to go somwhere else, i think that the organisation is really bad... But the first impression was nice... Too bad for that mistake it's really sad to be told yes and then you have to leave... Not cool

Unfortunately the rooms need a proper clean. There is a lot of limescale and mildew on the shower walls and limescale in the toilet. The pool needs a deep clean. The sink just leaks water onto the floor. Cockroaches in the room. Breakfast very limited (only option offered was egg on toast, when asked for something else we were offered mie goreng with egg). The location is good, close to shops and town centre. Tea, coffee and water provided. With a bit of TLC it could be very nice.

Prima locatie, vlakbij leuke straat met barretjes en restaurants. De badkamer was niet schoon en rook niet fris. Daarnaast erg gehorig, en de moskee ligt ernaast. Prima om andere mensen te ontmoeten en daarmee te socializen, maar was voor ons geen match.

First of all i was in 4 days the ONLY person. I had the dorm for myself. But next to my bed was so much dust, the mosque NEXT DOOR wakes you up at 4 am. The walls and windows let every sounds through. There is no real chill area which is comfy. The free breakfast was very little egg. And there are so many mosquitoes. Would not recommend since everyone of Jakarta would be possible to enter the females room.

The straff was the highlight of our visit. Everyone was so helpful, and the ladies who made breakfast were so kind. The breakfast was very simple but better than most hostels! Our room was just okay. The door lock seemed somewhat unsafe, tho we never felt unsafe in the hostel or the area. The shower in our room had no ceiling - which is nice when the sun is out - but mosquitoes can easily get in and when it rained it brought dirt and stuff into the shower. Not so nice.

Good stay for the price you pay. We did not swim as the pool didn’t look too clean. Staff was very helpful and thinks along! Breakfast was very basic and not enough for us.

Okay place to stay at. Nothing special, but nothing really bad to say about it either. Not very social tho

Doors are always unlocked, even at night. Minimal English with on site staff. Breakfast was included with my reservation, but was not offered. Location is far from main sites in Yogya. Area is fine for walking. Hostel was vacant except for 1 couple who were quite rude (no social atmosphere). Luckily I was able to find other travelers to connect with through various tours/classes.

Wunderschöne Anlage mit dem herzlichsten und hilfsbereitesten Personal, das man sich wünschen kann. Die Zimmer sind sauber und werden regelmäßig gereinigt. Das Frühstück ist mit Liebe zubereitet. Es werden Touren zu den Tempelanlagen angeboten. Wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt liegt die Straße, in der man gut ausgehen kann. Wir sind nachts nach Hause gelaufen und haben uns absolut sicher gefühlt. Kann es jedem nur wärmstes empfehlen! Danke für alles!

Really social hostel where we met fun people. Staff are 10/10 as well and do everything to make sure you’re having a good time. Free breakfast is also a nice touch and good way to start the day. There are enough things close by (coffee/pizza/shop etc) but the main attractions of Yogyakarta are a short grab bike away. Comfy rooms with good aircon and nice to have a pool as well. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

nice place good location and the staff were super nice. free breakfast was amazing 💙 however do be aware its located DIRECTLY next to a mosque that plays a very loud call to prayer at 4am every morning. Also not the cleanest, discovered someones usd underwear that had been left behind the pillow on my last night and the shower head fell on me in the shower

Schönes Hostel, sehr nette Leute, guter Vibe!

Overall I’m quite positive, but stayed when there was Ramadan. The speaker is on the roof so you will hear it very good. Nice staff, decent bathroom and breakfast simple.

Wonderful hostel! I stayed for 2 nights and loved it! The vibe is amazing, such a chill authentic vibe! It’s not super social which was a vibe for me this time! The staff is so helpful and nice and the facilities are good!

it's a Homestay. It has all the things you need. If renovated and modernized, it could be really amazing! But even so we enjoyed our stay and we even decided to extend our stay.

I really liked the accommodation. The rooms are very traditional, in the local architectural style. The main street is nearby, where you'll find a supermarket, restaurants, ATMs, and exchange offices. A laundry and great bars are also nearby. The owner cooks an excellent breakfast every morning and is very helpful.

My stay in Yogyakarta couldn’t have been better! The room was clean and exotic, and the owner, staff, and local people there were all so friendly and considerate. Breakfast was simple but delicious. If you’re looking for an authentic local experience, this place is a must. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Yogyakarta.

My boyfriend and I loved this hostel so much. Closely located to lots of yummy restaurants. The nicest staff and the friendliest cat. If we were to come to Yogyakarta again, we’d definitely stay here!

Great location, great rooms and great service! The place is lovely, really well located and the staff are lovely. I had to check in late due to my train arriving at midnight (originally planned for 3 am) and the staff were really accommodating. Definitely recommend. Also the breakfast is great!
