If you’re a female solo traveller, do not stay here. there is 0 security, no doors lock and the front door is open 24/7 unsupervised. my room was mainly older men. it was very unhygienic, the bathroom was disgusting and you could smell it from the bed due to a hole in the wall. the floor was dirty, the only AC was a dirty, small fan. i left early but if i could’ve, i would’ve left as soon as i got there. i felt very uncomfortable. i’m sad i wasted money staying here, it ruined ischia for...

The staff is welcoming and the hotel located in a wonderful place (very near to Forio and not far from the beach). However if you find a minimum of comfort and propriety it is not the good destination. Indeed the hotel is overall old-fashioned : the bathroom does not have any partition to protect against water when you have a shower, there is only one plug in the bedroom. The breakfast is very poor, it should be available at 8 but was not at 9 and most of the bottles of juices were empty… and ...

Cheguei no local e não tinha ninguém para nos atender, estava tudo aberto e a maior bagunça, coisa espalhada para todo lado. Até xícara caída no chão, parecia que tinha acontecido algo. Esperamos quase 30 minutos na entrada e decidi procurar alguém dentro do local. Encontrei um homem estranho pelado e enrolado num roupão que não me entendia. Acabamos desistindo de ficar e fomos procurar outro lugar. Gostaria de que o valor pago em meu cartão seja devolvido.

The worst cleanliness I have ever seen at a hostel. The bathroom had a glass door and never had any toilet paper. Rooms were never cleaned and when they were, it was at odd hours of the evening. There was a rotting pile of laundry on the roof. Mattresses were bare which creeped me out. Smelled like sewage. Location was pretty good and the owner was great. Just seemed disorganized. I cannot in good faith recommend this place to anyone

Good place to meet new young people if you are traveling solo, it can be described as a small party hostel. That’s probably the only good thing in this place, if that’s what you are looking for. The place is in bad condition, things are falling apart, broken and very messy. No toilet paper, no toilet seats, not enough plugs, unorganised and not well trained staff. A nightmare! Do not book this place. We booked our stay at the hostel for a private room with ensuite bathroom. They moved us (WITHOUT TELLING US) to a '2 star hotel' they own which ended up being a 35 minutes walk away from the center (up a steep hill) (we only found that out once we were there). There was NO hot water, the bed covers and towels were stained. Since we complained a lot, the guy took us to the city centre on a scooter (suggested to do 1 trip with 3 ppl) and paid for a taxi back.

We really liked the Hostels location and the staff was very friendly. BUT a huge problem was the hygiene. The bathroom and the kitchen were very dirty and we had dirt and mold in our room. We avoided to use the toilet and didn't shower during our whole stay because the bathroom made us feel so uncomfortable. The fridge smelled and looked horrible, we didn't want to put any food inside. It's such a pity!

Pretty dirty, did not have enough lockers big enough for my stuff, SO HOT, with not enough fans, had like 20 people sharing the same 2 bathrooms

Nice overall experience. No real common room to chat, it is an old building so no electric outlet for top beds or individual lights. The bunk beds were wobbly. Inroom bathroom was nice and towells and sheet were clean.

I enjoyed the staff, all were helpful and kind. The dorm I was in didn’t feel very clean and the floor was super dirty. I had a last minute change of plans and Lorenzo went out of his way to refund me which was very kind. It’s in a great location though and they offer a lot of different activities to make your stay fun!

solides Unterkunft für einen guten Preis. Badezimmer könnte renoviert werden und die Sicherheit etwas gesteigert werden. ich war im Frühling hier, es waren nicht viele Gäste außer mir da. Die Betreiber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit

Ein grossartiges Hostel, Superlage Superathmosphäre, ich hatte ein zauberhaftes Einzelzimmer mit herrlicher Aussicht. die Küche könnte etwas moderner und sauberer sein. Supernetter Host!!

The guys at The Ring Hostel are basically making Ischia appealing to tourists and Backpackers from all over the world. The Hostel is nice.

Für den Preis ist das Hostel wirklich gut. Man muss es mögen mit vielen Menschen in einem Raum zu schlafen, aber dadurch lernt man auch einfach viele neue Leute kennen. Das Personal war wirklich sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Besonders ist, dass das Hostel verschiedene coole Aktivitäten mit anbietet. Man kommt innerhalb von 10/15min an den Strand. Wer also eine wirklich typische Hostelerfahrung möchte, ist dort genau richtig

I have never felt so welcomed and so sad to leave a group of people! The hostel is super social and even with an ounce of effort, it is incredibly easy to meet people to explore the island with! The location is perfect, and the rooftop access was an amazing perk! The staff are absolutely lovely, and I am looking forward to returning next summer!

I loved my stay! There was so many things to do in Ischia and so many more offered by the hostel. The staff was amazing and very prestative and the breakfast really good. Just my room that was a bit differentthdifferent than the photos, but still very confy and clean. Loved the party done by the hostel so that everyone could socialise, Im definetly coming back!

This hostel felt like we were a big family, i kept extending my stay here and pretty much everyone i was with did as well

My stay at the Ring Hostel was amaaaazing!!! Lorenzo and Julie are both incredible and super helpful. The location was perfect and super close to the beach with lots of local recommendations from the staff. The rooftop was a real highlight with music and drinks every night, perfect for a solo traveller looking to socialise. I will definitely be returning!! BIG thanks to the Ring for an incredible stay!

STOP LOOKING THIS IS IT!!! Without a doubt the best hostel I’ve ever been, the rooms were nice, the bed and especially pillows were amazing!! But what really makes all the difference is the managing team. They’re some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Lorenzo, the owner is so helpful and friendly, everything was just so easy from renting bikes/scooters to going to their restaurant (he would drive you there) and everything. Just trust me, go there and do the boat tour with the hostel!

Hernoso lugar, la isla y la única bien medieval. La gente del hostel muy amable! El hostel es lindo!! Lo flojo fue el desayuno, no me gustó eso! Pero el resto todo bien. Volvería!
