Don't go there it has bedbugs. The hostel doesn't seem to care.

Das Hostel ist sehr schön! Sowohl der Garten als auch das Ambiente sind traumhaft und auch die Lage ist super! Die Zimmer sind Ansich auch sehr schön. Allerdings waren wir zu dritt dort im 7er Schlafsaal und zwei von uns hatten ab dem zweiten Tag Bisse von Bettwanzen. Ich habe dann in meinem Bett auch Wanzen auf der Matratze entdeckt. Dies teilte ich dem Mann an der Rezeption auch mit. Er war zwar sehr höflich, unternahm aber nichts dagegen!

Das Hostel ist in guter Lage und hat einen großen und schönen Außenbereich. Leider wurde uns bei unserer Ankunft nicht gesagt, dass eins der freien Betten von Bettwanzen befallen ist. Wenn ein anderer Gast uns nicht darüber informiert hätte, hätten wir in dem Bett geschlafen. Unserer Meinung nach hätte bei einem Bettwanzenbefall das ganze Zimmer geräumt werden müssen, bis es davon befreit werden kann, aber dass wir darüber gar nicht informiert wurden, hat uns dann doch sehr entsetzt.

We absolutely loved our first stay at Mamacha, met the best people, slept well and loved the cosy atmosphere. However unfortunately our second time was tainted by a bed bug experience, despite the staff knowing this particular bed had bugs, we were put in this bed and biten like crazy. I didn’t want to write a review like this as we LOVED this hostel but the following day after moving beds I spoke to the owner discreetly but he didn’t seem shocked at all, didn’t offer us a refund or offer to pay for laundry despite seeing how visible my bites were. By the time we left it looked like they were finally sorting out the bed with problems and I really hope they take these things more seriously in future because it’s the one way to ruin a wonderful hostel. No one else had issues during our stay (first room, bottom bunk on the right).
