Chiangmai Midpoint Activity Hostel

Property was nice but nit social the stay was good till I found BEDBUGS there on my last morning. Staff wasn’t helpful at all and suggested just shaking out my clothes to get rid of them. Had to go and wash everything. Other Girl in dorm also discovered bites Hot water was also not working on most days

Go somewhere else, tbh. Pictures look nice but for the cost, it’s not worth it. Rum down, practically NO common space bc it’s like.. outside and under construction? Idk I can’t explain it. Go somewhere like Jaidee or TarTarNay instead

Asked to stay longer. They said it would be the same price, i.e. was expecting to pay what I paid in cash without the HW fee. Then next day they came up with a completely different price, which was neither the full original price nor the price without HW fee. The downstairs facilities are 70s style. Also, the 16 bed dorm had a strong human smell, sweat, etc. as AC was only running on 25°C ... I guess 23 would have been better. No place to socialise except for the expensive cafés in fron...

I don’t know why this hostel is called an activity hostel, unless having tour leaflets in your reception makes you an activity hostel. There’s no real social space or atmosphere and no planned ‘activities’ were offered. Decent rooms but the decor needs an update, curtains from 1950.

The rooms were open at all time. Bed was hard and had no privacy. It was very hot during night. There is AC, but not very good. The staff was very friendly and there was plenty of space to socialise.

Pretty basic - common areas are open air so no air con. Very basic showers and bathrooms. Dorms were good but no key for the storage for bags so very clogged

Don’t understand the hype on this place and many other people i met here said the same. Location is great, staff are friendly, and is clean enough. Expected a much livelier and social environment. Main hang out space was also where people sat from the restaurant and the rooms/comman area is very dated (i dont have a problem with this it just wasn’t advertised as so)

We only stayed here for one night and were glad we didn’t stay too much longer. The bathrooms were not the cleanest and the mattresses incredibly hard, so not a good night’s sleep. Location is good and the staff are very friendly.

Établissement très propre personnels agréable. Peut de personne dans l’hostel voir personne ou personne n’est sortie. Les salles commune sont peu indiqué.

The hostel was great location and very social. I would recommend to anyone coming to Chiang Mai. Eve was excellent member of staff and helped me throughout my stay.

Very pleasant stay, I would say it is on the pricier side for a hostel but it was central and the beds were nice. I would say that after staying in a dorm and private room, private rooms are much better value for money- only £6 more than a 16 bed dorm! So great for a private room.

Personal muy amable. Está cerca a la estación de buses. Habitación bastante limpia y cómoda.

Amazing location, ATM near, restaurants near, bike hire, Landry, everything you could need is nearby

Great bathrooms to get ready in, rooms are tiny and no space for everyone’s bags. Great location but not very sociable at all. Probably wouldn’t recommend for solo traveller!

I really liked my stay here. The first dorm I had, we got ekstra pillows which were so nice. However I sadly didn’t have them in the bigger dorm. The bathroom facilities were nice and clean and the staff were sweet and helpful.

Very central old town location, clean, great pod bunks, not too much going on when I was there (1 night only, less than 12 hrs) but I would stay there again. There's a 24/7 launderette opposite / in the square. Very affordable and cheap detergent vending machine. Staff very keen to assist. Earlier check out can be arranged, including remuneration of deposit.

Great hostel, nice chill vibe but also easy to make friends. I was in vip dorm which was great for space and luggage. Excellent cafe and restaurant on the doorstep.

The property was in a perfect location, with everything you needed nearby. The bathrooms were nice with shampoo and body wash in all cubicles. Not social at all though, the common area was rarely used and we didn’t see any events being held. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

Great location!

First ever hostel I stayed in, great vibe, great location, very positive start to travelling! Has a nice social area, had lockers and separate girls and boys toilets. Would defo recommend😊
