Non La Mer Hostel - Bed & Yoga

BED BUGS!! Avoid this place. There were bedbugs in my bed and ended up covered in bites with a really bad skin reaction that ruined my Thailand trip. I spent a lot of money and time treating my luggage, clothes and buying medication. The worst part: instead of taking responsibility, the owner blamed me. Completely unacceptable.

We liked the hostel at first, great location, great facilities, lovely staff, BUT we had to check out early as there were bed bugs in our room, one of the girls found them on her bed curtain & in pillow case, and we had an extremely stressful day at the pharmacy, laundry & jetwashing our bags as they were crawling out of our bags.. the staff were kind & apologetic, we were refunded but I wouldn’t want any other travellers to experience this, we’re covered in rashes & it was very unpleasant:(🫶

Pros: Great atmosphere, friendly staff, nice common areas with hammocks, few really nice restaurants close to the hostel, breakfast. Cons: Showers were dirty, rooms were dirty, floors were dirty, not enough toilet paper. When I arrived my bed looked like someone had slept on it already. There were sand and stains on sheets. And definitely the worst thing: bedbugs were eating me alive. Also the location next to busy road is not a good thing if you are staying in a room that is next to the road.
