This hostel falsely advertised the two things that I chose to book with them for. Dishonesty isn't a good business practice.
Told me when I arrived at 10pm “they were about to email me” as they double booked and had no beds for me. I had also emailed them 2 days earlier asking if late check in was possible and had no reply. They have not refunded the deposit at all and I had to find new accomodation at 10pm.
There was no toilet paper for one of the days we were there. They lost the key to our room so we never got a key we just had to leave our room unlocked the whole time. We weren't in the room we paid for. There's never anyone at the front desk to check in. The bed had no mattress just a box spring so I woke up bruised from the bed. Worst hostel I've ever stayed in.
arrived and found out that website had crashed/glitched And they didn’t actually have any space for us We never got the deposit back and we found out we had nowhere at 6pm, despite dropping bags off at 9am One of the staff tried very hard to help - while another gave up and played a board game with a customer. We got accom sorted, thanks to that one staff- big thank you to him Property looked lovely and clean and cosy- just double check as apparently this is happens frequently
Hostel was in a great spot, very close to nearby restaurants etc. The staff were very lovely and helpful. However there was no atmosphere. The private room was decent for 1 night, but walls were super thin you could hear everything. The dorms were better but I had a female in my room who thought she was the only one in the room (not the hostels fault) so I didn’t get much sleep. The toilets were nice.
I didn’t like my stay too much. Rooms of 8 was very cramped and smelly - window couldn’t be opened. People were very unrespectful and loud at night. So it was very difficult to sleep. Bathrooms were dirty. I also forgot an important item at the hostel (and just noticed when I was in another state of Thailand) and thus asked them via email to ship it (I would pay the bill of course). They only said they are too busy to send it. OMG thanks for nothing…
Hotel correct, le personnel est très gentil et serviable
Hotel correct, the staff is very kind and helpful
Unfortunately very much not a social hostel. Everything else was good, clean, the water pressure in the shower was pretty bad though. AC worked well. Staff were very friendly. Ran out of toilet paper once. Why is it so difficult for hostels to provide toilet paper, it's 95% western tourists here 😅. Overall ok, but was just disappointed that there are no opportunities for socializing.
L’hostel est très bien situé en revanche il est toujours ouvert mais il n’y a pas tout le temps quelqu’un a l’accueil. Je pense qu’il est récent, salle de bain plutôt ok, mais pas encore complètement fini.
The hostel is very well located however it is always open but there is not always someone at the reception. i think it is recent, bathroom rather ok, but not yet completely finished.
Did not face any issues but please fix the bunk bed in room 5. It moves a lot!

I was just one night there. I want to highlight it was extremely clean. The bathroom inside the room was huge. Not really social and not all the workers can communicate properly in english but wasn’t a big problem at all. I recommend this hostel if you are going to be in Chiang Mai.
Auberge propre et agréable mais les lits grincent et manquent d’intimité. Les placards de rangement sont petits.
Hostel clean and nice but the beds are gritty and lack privacy.
Try get a room at the back of the hostel ! The road can get very loud at night! Staff were super friendly and the communal spaces always clean and tidy

We’ve only stayed one night because of a layover. And for this it was fine. But for longer I wouldn’t recommend staying there. They have no locks at the room doors and no lockers in the room at all. So no safety possibility and everyone can just walk into that place and the rooms. The bathrooms on our level were not nice so we used the ones belonging to another level of rooms. Those were fine. I just have wished they would have bathrooms separate for each gender, which they do not.
Great hostel, shame about the staff, couldn't be more unhelpful if they tried
Hard to find on maps got dropped off in the wrong alley 2 times. But good service overall beds are very HARD!
This isn’t a very social hostel but the beds are comfortable, the showers were clean and hot. The staff made this place, everyone was very kind and helpful.
Amazing staff, super chill and helpful. I'd give this place 1000/10 and I will definitely try to come back when I'll be in Chiang Mai again.
Alle Mitarbeitenden waren super nett und zuvorkommend! Die Lage ist eher ruhig, in die Innenstadt/den Sunday Night Bazaar erreicht man aber zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten!
The location is rather quiet, in the Innenstadt/den Sunday Night Bazaar you can reach but on foot in a few minutes!
I had a great stay at this hostel! The staff were super friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed — from directions to local recommendations. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The common area had a nice vibe, perfect for meeting other travelers. The location was also very convenient, close to Old Town and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a cozy, affordable, and social place to sta...

The common area is friendly. Staff greet you with a smile. Their tips are useful. Check-in is quick. Quiet hours are respected. The location is convenient. Food and transport are close. Laundry is easy. Housekeeping is consistent. Prices are fair. Value is excellent. I would stay again. I recommend it.
Great stay! The host is super friendly and make you feel right at home. The hostel is clean, cozy, and in a great location — close to everything but still peaceful. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chiang Mai.
We stayed at TarTa&Nay Hostel. The Hostel was very nice and clean.we appreciated it was located in a quiet location and just a short walk to night bazaar place and oldtown. We definitely recommend this place to travelers!

Wonderful and laid back spot with friendly hosts. I'll be back here!
Good cheap private room. Shared bathroom was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for simple meals. Great ac in the room and lots of space for bags and such. Location is not super central if you’re doing lots of exploring around Chiang Mai but in a nice chill area if you just want to relax.
Amazing family run hostel with good vibes and an amazing location where you are right in old town. There is a beautiful cafe attached to the hostel. The hostel is super clean and is perfect. Highly recomend!!!!!!
It was very nice and relaxing. If you are looking for a very social hostel, this probably is not for you. But for a solo traveler looking for a relaxing place to sleep it is perfect! The showers are very refreshing. There were only two, so sometimes there was a wait, but it wasn’t too bad. The rooms are simple but homey, and the bed was so comfortable! No pool, which would have been nice, but the AC worked very well. Would definitely stay here again.
