Sehr, sehr süßes und vor allem ruhiges Hostel in der Nähe vom Zentrum. Das Personal ist super lieb, sehr aufmerksam und sehr hilfsbereit. In der App steht, dass es Frühstück gibt, was es leider nicht gibt, wir haben das Personal aber schon darauf hingewiesen, dass es in der Beschreibung geändert wird. Snacks und Wasser wird aber kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Also super Hostel wenn man es etwas ruhiger haben will :)
Very, very sweet and above all quiet Hostel near the center. The staff is super cute, very attentive and very helpful. In the App it says that there is Breakfast, which unfortunately there is not, we have the staff but already pointed out that it will be changed in the description. Snacks and water are provided free of charge, however. Also super Hostel if one wants to have something more ruinous :)
most spacious and comfiest pod/bed in a hostel that I've been in. place seems brand new and is spotless. very quiet and chill spot, lots of good restaurants and cafes around the area

I had such an exceptional stay at Shanti Hostel that I decided to extend my trip to Chiang Mai by several days in this hostel.

This is easily top 3 of the hostels i’ve stayed in. Jaz on the reception is soo lovely and the owner is very welcoming, and even though the owner’s english wasn’t strong you could feel how welcoming she was. The hostel was very clean, the wifi is great, the price is a fantastic, you get free water, snacks and thai milk tea (sometimes), the beds are also quite comfortable and i love the fact that your locker is right next to your bed so you don’t have to leave your bed to get your things....
Everything was perfect. Really enjoyed my stay there. I’ve meet nice people at that hostel, the little social space is nice! The host was so kind and welcoming. The bed where comfortable and there is a lot of space on the side of your bed even when you are on the top bunk. The showers and bathrooms were also great. It is outside of the old quarter, but it’s easy to get grans and is still in the pick-up square of most tour companies. Would definitely stay there again if I come back to Chiang...
You’re in great hands at Shanti Hostel. I had a really good stay here. Jazz at the front desk was super nice and helpful and honestly made the whole experience incredibly positive. The place is clean, the beds are comfortable, and there’s a good locker for your stuff. It’s also an easy walk to the old town, which was really convenient. Definitely stay here again, thank you Shanti hostel!!!
Loved this hostel - the place was super clean and felt very new! Staff were soo lovely and there was free water and snacks available throughout the whole stay - I wanted to come and stay here again but it was fully booked! Would definitely recommend if you want a more chilled vibe :)
Lovely staff, good beds and in a quiet part of town I would say.

We really liked everything about the Hostel. It was calm, the Hosts were kind and really helpful und the beds were amazing. We would totally recommend staying there.
Great hostel with brilliant receptionist. I felt very welcome here with complimentary Thai Iced Tea! There is a cool social balcony area and the beds are comfy. This hostel isn’t super central but it’s not far from the Old Town and it’s a brilliant chance to explore more of Chiang Mai. The doors have digital locks which felt safe! If you stay here try Chubby’s for dinner next door - delicious!
Such a great hostel with the friendliest staff. Super comfy beds, the area is also sooo nice! Don't be put off from the fact its not inside the old town as this area is a great to explore has a great vibe to it. Only issue for me would be that you had to go downstairs to go toilet.
I had such an amazing stay here. The personel is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to answer any question. You really feel taken care of. The mattress is actually super comfortable (which is rare in hostels!), and the bunks are spacious, so you don’t feel cramped at all. I would 100% recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

This hostel was amazing. The atmosphere was cozy and very clean. The staff was amazing. Unfortunately me and my friend came to the hostel sick, but she took care of us so well! They offer amazing Thai ice tea, snacks and water! They have laundry, local restaurants and 7 eleven nearby! BIG RECOMMEND! I’m gonna miss this hostel!

Just the sweetest staff. So comforting and calming being here. 100% will be back. Clean, accommodating, and the perfect place to chill while in Chiang Mai. They care about you and it shows !!
