HG Hostel provide Tours & Motorbikes

- I feel scammed. I booked a room on Booking and they also confirmed that the room was available. But when I arrived at the hotel, the landlady told us to sit and wait for someone. We waited for about 20 minutes and no one said anything. Then the hostess told us to take all our luggage to another hostel and said that hostel and HG Hostel were the same. She explained that because we booked a room with a window but HG didn't have a window, she took us somewhere else. My friend went to a nearby motel called Thien Ly hotel. I felt suspicious so I asked my friend to go check out the room first. When my friend went to see the room, they had just started cleaning the room, and the hotel owner was a different person, and it was clear that these were two different hotels. Because we have traveled to many places, we knew this scam so we refused to stay. I don't know if the good reviews at Booking are true, but we feel really disappointed and deceived. Hope everyone is careful with this hotel.

+ Late incheck tijden, makkelijk te bereiken

- Het bed is echt van beton, nog nooit zo’n hard bed gehad. Geen oog dicht gedaan. Daarnaast 1 wc/douche hokje voor hele hostel, beetje karig. Maar goed voor de prijs van 2 euro per nacht niks te klagen.

- You needed to insist a lot to get things included in the reservation. They were doing construction work till late in the night and starting very soon in the morning so time for resting was short. There was a couple of misunderstandings because of the language

- Keine Info wann, wo Frühstück. Der Plan an der Wand im Foyer zeigte den Essensraum in der obersten Etage. Da war dann nur Lager und Wäsche aufgehängt. Fremde Haare im Wachbecken. Da die Geckohinterlassenschaften schon ziemlich festgetrocknet im Waschbecken waren geh ich davon aus, dass das Zimmer an meinem Anreisetag nicht nochmal kontrolliert wurde. Flecken auf der Bettwäsche. Der Dackel hat mich bei der nächtlichen Rückkehr angebellt und ist mir dann auch noch entwischt. Der kleine Spalt den ich zum reinquetschen durch das Tor benutze war anscheinend doch zu groß.

- There were communication issues every time we interacted with the staff. I am aware that this is in vietnam and I'm the one who doesn't speak Vietnamese, my bad. However using google translate was very unsuccessful and every interaction took an incredible amount of time. Never before had I had to wait so long for a check in, or for staff in a hotel to understand and/or react to any request, it was almost funny. I want to point out there were smiling and trying their best but we achieved little success.e A couple of times they called someone on the phone who did speak great English and facilitated whatever the issue was.

+ The staff is very friendly and kind ! I enjoyed talking with the grand pa, using Google translate ;) the bed was very comfortable and people available at any time.

- No individual light for each bed, the door of the bathroom was broken (we couldn't lock it).

- No contestan con rapidez, el checkin era tarde y bueno tuvimos que esperar un poco.. nada de comer cerca y el agua caliente dura poquísimo. Además no tenían moto… deberían haber avisado puesto que es un sitio que ofrece rutas y la gente que va allí es para hacer la ruta en moto..las camas muy duras

+ Super nettes und hilfsbereichtes Personal. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß.

- Unter Umständen kann es sehr kalt werden und dem Zimmer fehlt leider eine Heizung.

+ Super vriendelijke mensen, die erg behulpzaam waren

- Liep wel een haan bij onze kamer in de buurt die er vroeg bij was

+ Home stay très propre et confortable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Les propriétaires sont adorables et très serviables. Grâce à eux nous avons fait deux jours sur la Ha Giang avec des easy riders! Ils nous ont également réservé le bus pour notre destination suivante. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, les pancakes sont top ! Merci pour la petite attention de nous avoir cuisiner des pancakes avant notre départ matinal, ils étaient encore chauds quand nous sommes montées dans le bus !

- Rien c'etait top ! Je recommande Un peu excentré si vous avez besoin d'être au coeur de la ville.
