- La ubicación, el personal y el bungalow olía a barniz muy fuerte y nos dio dolor de cabeza.

- The hotel was dirty, the bedsheets were dirty, the room stunk, the hotel was understaff, the position of the hotel was not confortable

- De foto’s zijn misleidend. De helft van het eten op de kaart was niet beschikbaar en het was heel erg vies. Zowel de badkamer, als het bed en zelfs de muren waren vies. Toen we de eerste kakkerlak zagen bij onze tas zijn we direct weggegaan. Wij hebben hier niet geslapen.

+ הרבה דברים שכתובים לא באמת קיימים, אין אוכל להזמין במהלך היום, התפריט המצאות בפועל אין מה שכתוב, ואין מי שיכין את המעט שהם כן מכינים, רצינו להזמין צ׳יפס והלכו במיוחד להעיר משנת הצהריים את הטבח, תודעת שרות נמוכה.החדרים נקיים ויש פוטנציאל למקום אבל הצוות לא מתפקד ויש אווירה של אכסניה במלון. אף אחד לא דובר אנגלית חוץ מ2 אנשי צוות במלון כולו, צוות כולו חאפרים. האוכל הכי מגעיל שאכלתי בכל ויאטנם.

- הכל, חוץ מזה שהחדר היה נקי הכל גרוע, לא שווה את הכסף היינו כבננות כל היום ורעבות, כל דבר זה משא ומתן, הם עושים את עצמם מבינים והם לא באמת מבינים אותך. התמונות רחוקות מהמציאות, כנראה שהמלון כשרק נפתח היה וואו אבל היום זה לא מתוחזק והצוות לא מעניין אותו המלון, פקיד הקבלה משחק בפלאפון ותוך כדי מתן שרות ביקש ממני להמתין כי הוא רץ עם כפכפים להביא חבילה שהזמין, נשארתי להשגיח על הקבלה חחחחחחחח. עזרתי לו לעשות חישובים, עזרתי לו לעשות דברים שהיה צריך במחשב פשוט בדיחה.

+ Die Zimmer waren sehr groß.

- Es war dreckig, der Hotelhund hat überall hingepinkelt, der Mann oben im Restaurant wollte uns das Rückgeld nicht zurück geben und hat so getan als ob er kein Englisch versteht, kalter Kaffee und kaltes Essen beim Frühstück, Masseurin während Massage im eiskalten Raum nur am Handy.

+ Nur eine Rezeptionistin war bemüht.

- Personal wollte uns unser Rückgeld nicht geben, Housekeeping lies nach Reinigung Zimmertür offen, Roomservice nur nach Laune des Personals, die Bikes im sehr schlechten Zustand, Personal hat uns ständig angelogen, Wäsche kam dreckig zurück, bei Massage war sie nur am Handy und hat die Tür zur Empfangshalle offen gelassen obwohl man nackt daliegt,

+ there was dry/wet separation in bathroom

- worst hotel experience i ever had. staff are sleeping on the floor and couches, unresponsive, room door didn't lock, no hot water, insane late check out rate, breakfast bar with no real food, lunch food taking well over an hour to arrive cold, charged for water that was said to be free, food made me sick also. stay away from this hotel.

+ It was clean and comfortable the deluxe bungalow is where I stayed

- 4:00 and messaged the hotel just to make sure that i can check in early and i told them that I was going to arrive early in the morning around 4am and I asked them if it is possible for me to check in earlier and they responded okay that’s fine you can check in at anytime 24/7 which is why I booked the night bus from hanoi to hagiang instead of the day after because they said that I could check in at anytime. I listened to them and arrived at 4am and they said they had no room for me and that check in starts at 2pm and I spent the whole night from 4am to 2pm in the reception with no sleep, tired and nowhere to rest when i could have stayed in hanoi and come the day after if they have let me know earlier when clear on the message I sent them they said that i could check in at anytime. Plus they were very rude to me. The hotel is beautiful and everything, restaurant food is not good, and the customer service is just so bad they treated me sooooo bad like honestly i felt so uncomfortable during my stay because of the employees they were very rude.I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

+ the pool area looked nice at night

- one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. It's filthy and smelly. The shelves are full of stains, the bed sheets are dirty, the mattresses feel like you're lying on the floor, there were used dishes and the rest of food standing around in the restaurant, and don't let me get startet on the bathroom especially the toilet. I would never ever stay here again. I don't understand how a hotel can be that bad.

+ The Lotus Premium Lodge is a cut above other hostels I have stayed at. It has standards and facilities of some luxury hotels, but without the expense. They are perfectly located to start and finish a tour of the Ha Giang loop and can sort it all for you. Love it. Thanks to Tina on reception for being such a helpful host when I was not feeling my best.

- The 9/10 was simply because there was nothing hot water for showering on one of the days. I guess it may be dependant on sun and it was a stormy day.

+ The Lotus Lodge is a cut above other hostels, as it offers luxury bungalows and lodges as well as dorms. The staff are wonderful, and the location is perfectly. Special thanks to Tina.

- There is nothing i dislike

+ Le bungalow était récent, grand et confortable ! Le personnel à l'accueil, très à l'écoute et efficace pour vous conseiller sur les différents circuits.

- Les parties communes ne sont pas très propres ! et le petit déjeuner décevant (plus de choix après 7h30... dommage)

+ Friendly staff, they meet us even at 5 in the morning. Motorbike rent. AC.

- Poor restaurant, no fresh fruits or smoothies available. Massage - we paid for 60 minutes but it was 50, and 10 of them the lady was talking on the phone (and doing a massage with one hand)

+ My room had 2 rooms… 2 balconies… luxury I didn’t expect. Awesome staff. Really helpful and relaxing stay. The property has an awesome bridge and pool/garden area. Even better than it looks.

+ It was quiet and not bad value for 1 night. Tina from reception was really lovely

- The floor in the bathroom was flooded and so slippery. Kettle but way to use it as the base was missing.

+ The room we had was very spacious and modern. The room itself was really nice. The Internet was fast and the AC worked well. The views from the room were great. The location is quiet but far away from shops and restaurants. A couple of the staff were very nice and helpful - in particular Tina, she made the stay for us. When we arrived, we didn’t feel very well and she made us feel completely comfortable and continued to ask if we felt better during our stay, ensuring we were alright. She is a credit to the hotel.

- Some parts of the property seemed untidy and not well kept. The breakfast was abysmal. Firstly, the food was left open to the air with a member of staff smoking over it. Though he seemed nice, we didn’t fancy eating smoke exposed food. A lot of the crockery and the bowls the sugar etc. were kept in looked dirty. There was very little choice. Even basic options like toast were not sufficient. We had to ask the guy who worked there what things were because nothing was labelled, and we had to ask for basic things like mugs. Although there was bread and a toaster the butter was awful and genuinely made us feel sick as it was like pure lard. It was genuinely the worst breakfast we have had while travelling. Even if some jam, yoghurt or cereal could be provided this would be a big improvement.

+ Spacious room, comfy beds, good breakfast and amazing staff (especially Tina)

- Communal areas could be cleaner. Pool area and sky bar are poorly maintained.

+ We had the premium rooms which were absolutely beautiful and so spacious. A very welcome bath after doing the Ha Giang Loop for 4 days.

- Both times we stayed we had power Cuts but that was throughout the town. No complaints about the Lotus at all.

- It was pouring with rain and a little treacherous getting to our rooms across the bridge.

+ Chambre très spacieuse avec literie confortable, cadre et vue magnifiques, le personnel est très sympathique et serviable

- - Aucune insonorisation, nous étions juste au dessous du restaurant, billard etc, impossible de dormir sans boules quies on entend tout comme si on y était - Les finitions de la salle de bain sont à revoir, il y a des trous partout, certains ont été rebouché avec de l’enduit à même le carrelage, la douche a besoin d’un bon détartrage : le pommeau détachable ne fonctionnait même pas et celui du haut était tellement entartré que l’eau ne coulait que sur le côté, la salle de bain est complètement inondée après la douche et le lendemain matin odeur d’humidité +++ - La localisation est un peu excentrée, heureusement il y a un restaurant dans l’hôtel mais j’ai été malade 3h après y avoir mangé
