House of Lion Hostel

Firstly, they changed my hostel last minute to House of Wolves where the room was ok, but the shower never drained which meant you had to go to the toilet with your feet in water. Checked the beds and they were covered in BED BUGS. Told the hostel owner who said to change beds in the same room but sent her another video showing that they were in every bed. Had to get a grab in the middle of the night to house of lion and despite her saying she’d give a refund, I never received one (awful)!

Very sad to have to leave such a poor review, but the hostel needs major improvements!! We had to relocate at midnight because we found bedbugs (we were there for a matter of hours before leaving). Lockers were outside the room (visible to the public walking by) and easy to open without a key. There was also no locks on any of the rooms so anyone could come in at anytime. The bathroom had bugs and the inside toilet and sink were not operational at all.

I had a terrible experience at this hostel. It was full of bed bugs and mosquitoes, making it very unhealthy and unhygienic. The toilet was constantly leaking and had no water pressure. Many dirty cats roamed the room and jumped on the bed. The noise all night, possibly from washing machines and dryers, made it impossible to sleep. Avoid this place!

I was there for one week and all was good, until someone brought bed bugs, the last days I found some bugs in my stuff and bed and had to leave and clean all my stuff. The place was great like a little home backpacker, with a real kitchen, great atmosphere, I loved my stay there. It seems they are cleaning for the bed bugs, but maybe don't go in the next weeks Appart from that I have to say that the place was really clean, with 2 persons cleaning everything everyday
