Ariché Valladolid Hotel & Hostel

BED BUGS - Avoid this place at all costs I stayed here and got eaten alive by bedbugs. When I brought it up to the owner, instead of showing any concern or offering help, they were incredibly rude and even tried to blame me for the infestation. Totally absurd, especially since there are blood stains on the sheets, classic signs of bedbugs, and I later found multiple reviews (google rev) confirming this is a recurring issue. He even only reimbursed 1/2 nights and almost laughed at me.. absurd!

Wouldn’t recommend. We booked a private room and it felt like a basement (it had no windows). We were right next to the reception and we heard everything. The kitchen was very dirty too. We paid way too much money for the private room. The pictures looks really nice but we couldn’t stay in a room without windows so we checked out early and went to another hostel.

The constant music which blasts all over the property, the mosquitoes (with no countermeasures by the hosts) and the summer heat made it difficult to find a place to spend the time. The room is unbearably hot during the day, and you can't sit in the bed because the thin cladding of the wall would break behind you. The hostel room is also maxed out for as many beds as physically possible. Outside you get eaten by the mosquitoes, so the only way is to leave the place or stay pretty much completely...

Axel war seehr nett und hat einem den Aufenthalt sehr verschönert. Allerdings waren die Leute und die Atmosphäre meiner Meinung nach etwas komisch. Viele ältere Männer& Familien. Die Toiletten unten haben außerdem sehr gestunken und der Dorm war wegen der Klimaanlage auch sehr kalt nachts

it is very pretty, the vibe was not very social, its was quite clean and the beds are very comfortable. i went to another hostel to socialize

Buon ostello in centro a Valladolid, peccato fossimo praticamente unici ospiti. Unico problema da segnalare: alle 6 del mattino quando ci siamo svegliati non c’era acqua, né nelle stanze private né nei bagni comuni

There were many times when it was obvious that the owner was only interested in making a profit, and not interested in his customer's comfort: 1) There was air conditioning in the dorm, but the owner shut it off at 7:45am every morning, even though everyone in the dorm was still sleeping. The dorm was very hot by 8:30am. 2) There was no coffee or tea at 7:30am. So, there will be no coffee or tea before you head to Chichén Itzá early in the morning, to avoid the heat of the Yucatan.

The staff were wonderful at this hostel. I only stayed one night and saw only a few other guests. I took a shower before going to dinner and had cool water only. Late in the evening, when I tried opening my room door while inside, the doorknob came off in my hand. I knocked on the door from inside my room and someone came right away. The staff member moved me to another room. The bathroom in the new room had a funky smell and in themorning I discovered the water was not working in the bathroom.

Must say the staff were brilliant. Hot shower, pool area, and ac was also good. Only 1 dorm room and lots of private rooms with couples staying in so felt a bit like a hotel at times.

Lovely hostel - small but everything you need! Organic shampoo, conditioner and shower gel plus free tea and coffee in the morning. Great air con, clean and very zen peaceful hostel. The staff were really friendly. Thank you :)

Sehr schönes Hostel! Extrem Sauber, bequeme Betten, Kaffe und Wasser zur Hand, gute Lage, sehr hilfsbereites Personal, extrem gut Ausgestattete Küche

Lovely hostel in a good location for the centre of town. The pool was a nice cool relief from the high humidity. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome value for money. So cheap compared to other hostels there. Staff were so lovely, and the rooms were really nice. Hostel was chill which was perfect because you could have your peace at home but still utilise the busier hostels for a party when you like. WiFi could be a bit better to connect to and it would be better if they had a secure luggage room to leave your bags, but only minor things. Lovely hostel

Hostel is well located for all of the sites in and around Valladolid with a great pool and helpful staff. We had no hot water for the whole time we were there which was very unfortunate for the money we paid. If you are looking to travel on a budget and cook in the hostel the kitchen is basic.

The hostel is very central, overall clean and quiet, there’s no activities or much to do. It is walking distance from everything important in Valladolid and I felt very safe. The only real issue I have are the room sizes: 10 people and no female only dorms unfortunately. However, great hostel for a night or two!

One of the best hostels we stayed in in Mexico. Very good, cheap and comfortable rooms. Very helpful host that helped us with a big problem we had during our trip. Javier offers great tours and transfers around Valladolid and has great tips for the whole area. Thank you again for the stay and the help! Recommended to everyone, traveling alone or with others

good cheap budget option but it is very dead, not ideal for solo travel

War alles wunderbar: netter serviexe, alles sauber, gute Lage. Lediglich der Wasserdruck war etwas gering als ich dort war, jedoch noch in Ordnung zum Duschen etc reicht's (da ist man sicherlich auch verwöhnt aus Deutschland).

wirklich ein überragendes hostel mit viel Liebe! Vorallem Javier ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat gute Tipps für eigentlich alles :) Alles sehr sauber, es gibt kaffee und yogamatten. Wir haben uns gleich zuhause gefühlt. gerne wieder 😊👌

Enjoyed my stay here. Staff were super friendly and informative. I was in a scooter accident and they helped me with advice and a first aid kit. Room was okay, but it was either very hot or very cold, hard to find a balance with the AC. Really good location close to ADO bus terminal and some of the main attractions in Valladolid.

Loved this hostel! The pool is amazing, room was super clean and the air con was great. The staff helped us organise tours and were very friendly
