- The hostel is probably right for most people. I had an unpleasant encounter during a night where a drunk roommate missbehaved. I asked for a refund both hotel and booking.com as i soent parts of the night in the lobby. Hostel denied the incident to avoid the refund. For me: unacceptable behaviour

+ カフェやバーが併設されていて常に国際色溢れて賑やか。 宿泊者用のコワーキング可能なスペースも別途確保されているので使い勝手がいい。 トイレ、シャワーも問題なし。 シーツが布団側も一枚布を挟むだけのパターンなのが残念。
- 2泊3日の中日に午前中出かけて帰ってくると貴重品ロッカーに入れてあったはずのバックパックが無くなっていた。 現金80万円ほどとパソコンが入っていたため、焦りさがす。 パソコンの位置情報から建物内にあるのがわかったので賑やかな一階に行くと、ファスナーの空いた状態でバックパックが通路に放置してあった。 受付でその件を聞くと「間違ったロッカーに入れてあったから出した」とのこと。それは自分が悪いと思い部屋に戻るとどうやら間違っていない。 それを伝えると、今度は「担当者が間違えて出した」と回答を変える。間違えて出して通路に放置していいものではないので追求するが結局担当者からの謝罪もなし。 現金の正確な数字も把握していないので確認もできず、結果掃除の担当者が自由に貴重品ロッカーからものを出して放置できる状態が怖くなり、信用もできないので1日を残して他の宿に移った。 シンプルに教育レベルが低すぎる。 一つ間違えば犯罪なのだが宿側はそれをあまり理解していない様子。 アメリカからアジア各国まであらゆるドミトリーをまわってきたが、宿として最も低品質なサービスを提供する組織としか思えません。

- The bed mattress is too uncomfortable. When two people lie on a double bed, their bodies are pushed toward the center, making it difficult to sleep properly. When the air conditioner is turned on, it is only cold, and the humidity inside does not go down. The ventilation system in the room didn't seem to be working. The hallway was more comfortable than the room. 침대 메트리스가 너무 불편합니다. 2명이 더블 베드에 누우면 가운데로 몸이 가운데로 쏠리게 되어 잠을 제대로 잘 수 없습니다. 에어컨을 틀면 춥기만하고, 내부 습도는 내려가지 않습니다. 방안의 환기 시스템이 작동하지 않는 것 같았습니다. 방보다 복도가 더 쾌적했습니다.

- Je n'ai jamais été prévenu quil fallait quitter lhotel entre 10h et 14h avant d'arriver sur place du coup aucun moyen de trouver un autre logement (dur le weekend à tokyo) On ce fais reveiller a 9h30 par une sonnerie de ferry de bateau pour quitter l'établissement en faisant la queue pendant des plombes devant l'ascenseur. Les matelas sont super fin et la cabine petite j'ai du dormir de coté je vous racconte pas la douleur. Pareil la moquette pue des pied c'est une infection. Douche commune uniquement mais on s'habitue

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Having the cafe and bar downstairs gives it a real fun local vibe. Super clean and maybe one of the best hostel bathrooms I’ve ever seen! It’s not in the hustle and bustle of Tokyo (which I wanted as a 4th time visitor) so if you want to stay central I wouldn’t recommend BUT with saying that train lines are super close
Loved CITAN! It's away from the chaos of some parts of Tokyo but there's a metro line a few blocks away and nice cafes nearby. Treated myself to a single room as I was coming off a long haul flight. Could not have been happier!
Wonderful staff, keeping the place clean and well established, helps with a very convenient location for food and transit.
Place is really great, clean and in a great location since it’s a 18 minute walk from Akihabara. My only complaint is it was hard to meet and make friends at the hostel. Most of that is out of their control, but daily events would have made it easier to make friends.
Great hostel a bit further out the city if you want a bit of quiet. Close to the train station for easy access to the busier parts like shinjuku. Showers and bathrooms are great and kept really clean. Rooms are good with locker provided for valuables. The rooms are quite small in general so it can be a hassle for organising your bag. Staff are nice and friendly, provide amenities such as towels etc. for free which is good. Cafe and bar at reception are nice too
Such an awesome spot to stay. One of my favourite hostels. In a quiet area outside the main hub, can hop on the subway and be downtown pretty quick. The atmosphere is great, staff are very friendly, free luggage storage at checkout, nice common space, cool cafe and bar, awesome toilets of course. I’m a bit particular so it could be a bit cleaner, but is definitely clean and no glaring issues. Obviously this isn’t a party hostel, but the atmosphere is still very social. Highly recommend!!

First hostel experience. I genuinely don’t think it can get better than this. This staff was amazing, the facilities were clean with an impressive attention to detail, and the attached cafe was perfect for a nice breakfast to start the morning. Great vibes all around–I will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone else staying in Tokyo!
The Hostel itself is really nice. The bathrooms are great and the dorms comfortable enough. The basement bar has a really cool vibe and the food is okay. They had djs on both friday and saturday night. The music was actually really good. Biggest problem with the hostel was that it’s really lacking a social vibe. Staff make no effort to bring people together or have events or anything. If you’re travelling solo and looking to meet people i wouldn’t actually recommend. with friends go for it...
Needed somewhere to stay before I left Tokyo & this place was above and beyond what I hoped for. Great place, secure & great staff. Would definitely return here!
Really good hostel with good amenities. The staff are very helpful and kind. There is also a downstairs are that has events and a DJ. I would recommend that the hostel has interactive and group events as everyone downstairs just stick to their friends/roommates. Great hostel with a good location.
Honestly the best hostel I stayed. I booked a private room so it felt more like a hotel as a solo traveler. Staff were very friendly and free breakfast is the same every day. Shower and lavatories are clean. They have nice dining area to eat and socialize as well. The best part is that this accommodation is located between two subway stations within a 10 minute walk. This is my first ever trip to Japan and I had a great time in Tokyo. I have no complaints and recommend staying here.
For what it is, it’s soo expensive and not worth it. I chose this hostel because of the rave reviews with the hope it’d be social. However, it felt more like a hotel with a nice expensive bar and coffee shop at the bottom. Of course, the facilities are very nice but I expected there to perhaps be events but there wasn’t, just a short dj set on the weekends. Some of the guests were also so entitled, turning on the lights at 3am. Not backpacker friendly at all. The staff were friendly tho (1...
Solid central location, you're not by much, but able to get everywhere easily in Tokyo. Common areas are nice, and the bar/breakfast were nice additions.

+ Wirklich tolles Hostel! Super Lage, sehr stylisch, nettes Personal, schönes, gemütliches Zimmer. Herausragend war zudem das Frühstück, das war super lecker, auch für Vegetarier/Veganer! Die Atmosphäre in dem Cafe war richtig cool und die Musik war gut. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
+ Bel hostel situé à quelques minutes des lignes de métro. Le personnel est sympa et disponible. Lit plutôt confortable. L’hostel est bien emménagé. Il y a un bar au sous sol qui est vraiment super! Très bonne nourriture et de quoi étancher sa soif. Il y a plein de restaurants autour également et une boulangerie vraiment délicieuse à deux pas, j’en rêve la nuit, haha (nom: Beaver Bread). Le week-end, ils font venir des DJ. Personnellement, on entendait rien de mon étage donc le bruit ne m’a pas dérangée. Bref, une bonne adresse!
- Pas vraiment de quoi cuisiner (mais en même temps, qui cuisine pendant ses vacances au Japon?!) Et par contre les machines à laver ne sont vraiment pas terribles, surtout le dryer qui ne sèche pas du tout.
