I got bedbugs from this place… They have luggage storage but no reception so i was only able to get it stores from 10:30. Woke up with bites on my arms the morning after staying here. Resulted with me having 10 bites overall and throwing my bag out and sanitizing everything. Would not really recommend.

We had a very bad experience with this accommodation and its host. Communication prior to our arrival was poor, and the host failed to help us arrange a parking reservation. Instead, he was rude and could not answer our questions. He also failed to provide check-in instructions. When we arrived, we had to call him, and only then did he help us check in remotely. Although all payments were supposed to be made at the accommodation, we were asked to pay beforehand through a dubious link. No receipt was provided. The apartment was accessed using a link that the host could (and did) deactivate at will, even before check-out. Due to the host's behavior, we became suspicious of the place and started reading reviews on other platforms. We found reports of bed bugs, which really scared us, but by then it was too late to cancel our booking. During our stay, we did not see bed bugs, but the mattress did have a bad smell. The final straw came during our stay when, in the middle of the night, the host marked our booking as a no-show and canceled our electronic key (which is accessed via a web link). The next morning, even before check-out, we were unable to re-enter the apartment because our key was deactivated. If you read other reviews on Booking.com, you will see that it is not the first time he does that. Imagine if we had been out when he deactivated it! When we asked Booking.com to restore the reservation to the correct status, the host tried to lie and deny that we were there. Additionally, the host tries to scam guests in other ways. He charged us the full amount, including the city tax. However, once inside the room, you will find a note saying that you hadn't paid the city tax and asking you to leave it in cash on the table. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and there are much better accommodation options in Verona.

Bed Bug Bites - mattresses obviously have not been properly cleaned since the last outbreak of bed bugs. The kitchen facilities were not great, no sink and no microwave. Bathroom moldy.

Es waren Bettwanzen in meinem Zimmer, was ich leider erst am Tag der Abreise bemerkte, da ich die Bisse für Mückenstiche hielt. Der stark süßliche Geruch im Zimmer, den ich zu Anfang für Putzmittel gehalten hatte, Blutspuren und Kotspuren der Wanzen auf den Laken und am Bettgestell, sowie ein Häutungsrest einer Wanze auf dem Matratzenschutz deuten darauf hin, dass die Wanzen dort schon lange sein mussten. Der Gastgeber leugnet, dass Bettwanzen im Zimmer waren. Ich habe den Vorfall an die Plattform gemeldet und angeblich musste er daraufhin das Zimmer professionell reinigen, was zu hoffen ist. Bereits im September 2022 beanstandete ein Gast Bettwanzenbefall. Der Gastgeber behauptet dies sei in einem anderen Zimmer gewesen, welches daraufhin gereinigt wurde. Aber auch davon abgesehen ist die Hygiene in der Unterkunft sehr schlecht. Der Boden meines Zimmers war so staubig, dass dieser an Koffer und Rucksack hängen blieb. Im Bad, das zwar privat aber außerhalb des Zimmers ist, gab es Unmengen an Ameisen und Ameisenkot in der Dusche, den man vor jedem Duschen entfernen musste. Schimmel in den Fugen, verkrusteter Dreck in den Fugen und in der Duschtrennwand, viel Staub und Dreck im Heizkörper gab es außerdem. Kein Reiningunsservice im Zimmer, kein Putzmittel im Bad, keine Spüle in der Küche, um sein Geschirr hygienisch reinigen zu können. Eine heruntergekommene und verdreckte Gemeinschafts-Terasse, die mit dem Zimmerfenster abschließt und somit auch Privatsphäre schwierig macht. Kein Schrank, so gut wie keine Ablagefläche im Zimmer. Für knapp 80 Euro die Nacht wäre das auch ohne Wanzen schon völlig überteuert. Der Gastgeber ist höflich und freundlich. Aber wenn man sich mit berechtigter Kritik an ihn wendet reagiert er mit Leugnung und beschwert sich, dass er das Zimmer nun professionel reinigen muss, weil ich den Vorfall der Plattform meldete. Maximal unseriös. Auch bei anderen kritischen Bewertungen hier und auf Google scheint dies seine Standard-Reaktion zu sein.
