Pak-Up Hostel

Hostel ligt ver buiten ao nang, er is eigenlijk niks te doen in de buurt. Personeel was niet vriendelijk. Bedden hebben hele kleine gordijntjes en weinig privacy. Vooral de bovenste bedden hebben geen afscheidingen. Vieze geur in het hostel. Wel veel party activiteiten. Wel fijn dat het ontbijt gratis was

I had a very disappointing stay at Pack-Up Hostel. The staff was extremely unfriendly. I’ve never experienced such unwelcoming behavior at any other hostel. They seemed very annoyed by any question I asked. The atmosphere was also not what I expected. there were many older men staying there, and since there is no age limit, it didn’t feel like a typical backpacker hostel. If you’re looking for a friendly and social place, I would not recommend this hostel

Meermaals zonder stroom en daardoor ook geen water. Personeel bij binnenkomst was niet behulpzaam. Sfeer in de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes was ver te zoeken

After arriving here I quickly realized this place is not as advertised. the area is quiet and empty and the hostel is silent and boring. 1 hour into getting into my room I decided I did not want to stay but of course they refused to give me a refund. Poor customer service choice and I definitely won’t be back. easily the worst hostel i’ve stayed at and I was running to leave

De zogenaamde waterfilter is kapot… Pas op als je water drinkt vanuit het hostel, want wij waren er allemaal ziek van….

This review is based on dorm room stay, but it was nothing like any of the reviews we read prior to booking. The beds are so thin and uncomfortable. The beds don’t have a full set of curtains nor are they big enough for any privacy so woke up to some guy’s booty in my direct line of sight and didn’t feel like I had any privacy. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you want any sleep or privacy. Bathrooms were clean and staff were nice!

I booked a room there and unfortunately got into a bad bus accident on the way to Krabi and broke my spine. I provided a police report and asked them to cancel my booking. Despite that they showed me no symphaty and charged me full amount and don't even respond to me now. They only care about money, no matter if you get into trouble

They charge 1,100 baht to Bangkok when the ticket is 675 baht at the station. I’ve never known Hostels to charge a premium of more than 10% before but that’s just straight robbery.

Die Mitarbeiter waren genervt. Wir haben uns in der ersten Nacht gar nicht wohlgefühlt, weil ein älterer Herr in unserem 4-Bett-Zimmer übernachtet hat. Wir haben uns von den guten Rezensionen blenden lassen - für die bekommt man vor Ort nämlich einen Joint for free :) Es war immerhin sauber und die Betten bequem!

first of all on arrival i was given a dirty towel, then the bed sheets looked like they hadn't been changed they were grubby and had stains on. the duvet was disgusting, not the type that can be washed. the staff were so rude i wasn't even told where my room was, didn't smile or say hello whenever i came back in. staff also on multiple occasions just walked into room without a knock and didn't say anything. location poor nothing around ended up getting taxi to ao nang each day. toilets not clean

We booked a private room with shared bathroom. The room itself is very big, easy to fit all of our things. A/C worked very well. They provided towels, however, they had stains on them so we ended up using our own. The shared bathroom was fairly clean (as expected in a hostel). Had body wash & shampoo in the showers & hot water. The staff were friendly. The free breakfast wasn’t bad either (toast, eggs, cereal).

Really enjoyed my stay! The staff were nice and helpful and they were fun activities organized by the hostel! The big luggage rack was very nice and the included breakfast was very appreciated. The breakfast is a bit basic but not too bad (toast, fruit, cereal, eggs, yogurt). They also have filtered water which is great.

Nice place with everything you need and perfect aircon in the rooms. Great energy from Tom in the bar 👏

i booked 3 nights in another hostel near ao nang and after first night i checked out and came to pak up. coming to this hostel felt like medicine. it was super chill, they have a very cozy bar and you get a free booze ticket, you can play pool and chill after a long day basically. musics were also really nice. neighbor was local and not tourist oriented like ao nang. they have open gym in the terrace, i had really cute memories there, highly recommend this hostel huge thanks

I enjoyed my stay and felt very comfortable. People were nice and it had a social vibe. The beds und luggage drawers were really spacious and convenient.

Clean beds and showers. Some activities in the evening but nothing to write home about.

Showers often out of service. Staff wasn’t very polite, however we had a nice stay

10/10 bed was super comfy - got lucky but had great people in my dorm, pub crawl was fun, hired a scooter directly from them and organised a cheap transfer to Railay, water available in reception, nice bathrooms and helpful staff

Die Lage in Krabi Town ist eher ruhig im Gegensatz zu Ao Nang. Wir haben gemerkt, das die meisten Aktivitäten wie der nightmarket und die beliebten Restaurants eher in Ao Nang sind. Wenn man ein Roller mietet oder Grab benutzt ist es kein Problem nach Ao Nang zu fahren (ca. 30 min vom Hostel) Das Hostel war gut! Es war alles sauber und die Betten bequem. Die Mitarbeiter im Hostel waren ansich sehr freundlich, haben sich aber wenig für einen interessiert.

hermoso el hostel y la gente de ahi. lo unico no queda cerca de la playa, pero fuera de eso, me encanto!

Nice and clean Hostel and great staff.

This place was clean and in a nice location, but has really little privacy especially on top bunks. There aren’t any curtains separating the beds in the mixed dorms, and they leave the hallway lights on throughout the night with no blind or curtain to shut it out from the dorm, which means the room is light especially on the top bunk for the whole night. Nice breakfast

Sehr gutes Hostel mit eigenem Pool und free dribk coupons. Sehr positive Erfahrungen sehr saubere zimmer und super Betten.

Das Hostel war toll, super sauber und die Mitarbeiter freundlich. Es hat eine entspannte Atmosphäre, man kann sich in die Bar setzen hört aber in der Nacht nichts von unten. Die verstau Möglichkeiten sind riesig und die Betten angenehm. Die Vorhänge sind leider zu klein um das ganze Bett abzudecken aber man kann gut sein Handtuch davor hängen. Wenn man Party und Stadtleben will muss man aber nach Ao Nang. Das Angebot für Ausflüge und Transporte ist gut und preiswert. Ich würde wieder k...

The hostel itself is in a good location. The bathrooms and rooms are spotless and had an epic sleep there. Lovely pool and bar and liked the voucher for a drink for your night stays and an itinerary on arrival of events going on in the hostel was a nice touch. I did not find the staff one bit friendly and one suggestion would be mugs/cups for people making a tea or coffee. There is nowhere to sit for breakfast which can be awkward but minor detail.

Highly recommend. Very social hostel with lots to do in the evenings. Beware of the pub crawls they r chaos but so much fun especially staff.
