iRest Ao Nang Krabi

This hostel locked the entrance before mid night with no warning to guests. I wasn’t provided the access code when i checked in. I tried calling and emailing multiple times. My luggage was locked inside and I have missed my flight because of that. The staff was rude when I ask her to change me to different room because of the room smell. No professional hostel would operate like this. I do not recommend this place for anyone.

Price-quality you pay too much for what you get. The dorms don't even have curtains on the beds so 0 privacy. The lockers for valuables are outside of the rooms. The restroom was dirty all the time and only one out of 4 toilets worked properly, the others being out of order or door not being able to lock. There are too many dorms in the hostel. People were being loud at night and just trying to come into my room. Only good thing was the breakfast buffet.

A little away from the main area but at least not loud because it’s not near the party zone. But it’s quite dirty, really humid air and it smells pretty gross everywhere. Breakfast isn’t really good, loud tv with sports on the whole day. Even if it’s cheap, it’s not worth the money.

On the booking it states that you get complimentary breakfast & that they take card. You get neither. We were rudely told that they have changed management and so they now don’t do complimentary breakfast or take card payments, but they couldn’t be bothered to change the website listing. The beds were uncomfy and the showers were dirty. There was also a weird vibe, you say hi to people and they ignore you. Wouldn’t recommend to be honest.

When we checked in our group was separated into different rooms, even though we booked a room for 4 together which we thought was weird since that never happened before. The staff were very nice and the free breakfast was great! Location was great as well. On the other hand, there was no atmosphere at all. It looked like they had just put some couches and chairs in a white room with fluorescent lighting. Also wasn’t the cleanest hostel we’ve stayed at on our trip. Wouldn’t stay here again.

ok hostel. quiet and clean, comfy bed, good amenities, but 0 social atmosphere and not a good common area. breakfast is amazing though.

We had a really good stay here, it is a hotel though not a hostel so there isn’t a social vibe. The room was cleaned daily, free breakfast, and in a great location.

The property was in a great location for me since I was training Muay Thai in the area for a month. Overall it’s a nice places to stay with an amazing breakfast. The biggest drawback is the weak water pressure.

Good location ; 10min from the Main Street and 15min from Ao Nang beach. But in a quiet street which is good. Really good breakfast. No pressure in the shower so that’s complicated to wash your hair.

Decent stay at iRest hostel. The hostel has so much potential and a bit of attention to detail would have made our stay great. Cleanliness of the bathrooms, smells in the bathrooms, shower gel in the showers, proper bed duvet instead of a towel-like blanket… Overall, an affordable (for Ao Nang) and good hostel in Ao Nang and the staff are friendly. Just could have been better! Great breakfast though!!

Amazing hostel, lovely staff. Would stay here again. Best thing was the cleanliness and how spacious the hostel is, especially compared to similar ones in Ao nang. Lovely host.

Great hostel if you don’t want to be in a party atmosphere but still be close to everything! Close to the market, 7-eleven and both beaches. Not a massive social atmosphere but perfect for us as we needed a rest from some long travel days! Staff were lovely :)

Top hostel with free breakfast. The breakfast is also really good. Everything is clean and the people are nice. The bar is also really nice to drink a beer and watch sports. The only thing that could be better is the blanket. Now its a thin blanket thats looks more like a towel.

Good hostel near two beaches in Ao Nang. The staff was very friendly, the rooms have been clean and the breakfast was also very good. Sadly there is no social atmosphere in the hostel.

It was very clean. Not too far from everything and quiet. Perfect for people wanting to settle in from their long journeys. Staff was excellent, very nice and accommodating when we needed to stay an extra night.

Amazing room for the price we paid. Super comfortable and good amenities. Location is good, docked a point bc it’s up a big hill so something to bear in mind. This is minor as it’s still walkable. Unfortunately there was an issue with the water supply whilst we were there but we were given a refund to reflect this issue.

Clean and very spacious rooms & bathroom, the breakfast was very good!! Location is convenient too, it is definitely a quiet hostel. I was lucky to meet some nice people there :) would recommend if you’re in Ao Nang to enjoy some peace and quiet and to enjoy the area.

- This place is great! We got a private room which came with a balcony with a great view. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and there is a bar downstairs. It’s a pretty quiet hostel which was excellent what we were looking for. They also had services for motorbike rentals and laundry which was very convenient. The location is nice too, it’s out of the way but still only a short ride to the beach.

Ho prenotato 2 notti, la prima l'ho passata quasi in bianco per colpa di un materasso sfondato, (avevo i segni delle molle sulla pelle il giorno dopo). Ho fatto presente del problema e mi hanno cambiato stanza facendomi vedere prima il materasso, si sono scusati ed è finita lì. Struttura ok, c'è un po' di odore nei bagni
