High Street Hostel

High street hostel had a great atmosphere, nice and spacious rooms and facilities, and the perfect location to explore Edinburgh! I did experience bed bugs which was not great, but all rooms and bathrooms seemed really clean! Really enjoyed my stay

It was all good exception of cleanliness since we had something like bedbug bites in our body afete leaving the hostel. If you pay attention to this issue, everything will be great :)

The only downside I found was that there were no lockers or sockets next to each bed, which could be inconvenient for some travelers. However, despite this minor inconvenience, I was overall extremely satisfied with my stay at Portree Independent Hostel. If cleanliness is your top priority when choosing accommodation, I highly recommend giving this hostel a try.

The hygiene of the bathrooms and the kitchen wasn't great (especially the crowded fridges were a bit tiresome), but the staff was relaxed, the beds were clean (no bedbugs or any of the sorts) and I would go back. Great price quality balance.
