Disclaimer…. I did not actually stay here so this review is limited to the booking process. I booked 1 night to be close to the train station. Once booked I got several messages pointing out to me prominently that this is a party hostel and only those between 18-45 can stay here. Frankly this was enough to make me reconsider my plans. The photos do not reflect the actual condition of the hostel. The bathrooms are far below the desired standard, with tiling from the 1920s covered in mold. As for the service, there is only one person at reception who is overwhelmed with the bookings. At the end of your stay, they send emails and messages asking you to leave a good review. I will not return to this hotel.

Staff was nice but I have the say the bathrooms could be cleaner and the soap dispensers had build up of gunk. Which makes me think that they do not do through cleaning. They also turn your ac off on the middle of the night. Which sucks because you will wake up at 5 am drenched in sweat. En recepción Santi es perfecto!!! Gran ambiente de fiesta. Como estar en una villa de veinteañeros: gritos, música, platos sucios. El agua del lavabo del baño no baja. el lugar está a ruido del aire acondicionado de la habitación. Solo 4 baños, 1 por piso, subí y bajé varias veces y no encontré ningún baño disponible. La escalera a la cama es incómoda, estrecha y no hay lugar para sujetarla. Las toallas pagadas son muy viejas.

BARA KILLAR, stanna inte här om du åker som tjej. Extrem toxic atmosfär. För litet rum. Kul med aktiviteter men att som tjej gå ut, vi kände oss konstant osäkra tillichmed i vårat egna rum där vi sov med en kille.

Super social and great atmosphere. Great staff. Location out of the centre, but that’s clear when booking! Expensive for what you get… but welcome to Barcelona!

Many areas were dirty. Especially the bathroom. The cabin that I showered were covered in hair and flooding. And in general all areas were extremely small.

Open and friendly hostel! Has good vibes and offers various options through the hostel. I give 3 stars because even though most OneFam Hostels are pretty cramped, this one felt particularly stuffed and I didn't love the bathroom/shower set up. There also isn't really anywhere to go for calm or privacy like if you want to make a call or do any online work, as it's a VERY social space. Great if you want to meet people, but best for only a couple nights.

This hostel lives up to the name, it is like being part of a family staying here! Everyone has been so kind and helpful (shout-out to Jona) and everyone goes to daytime and evening events together if theyd like to join and it includes free entrance to clubs, free shots, and even free dinner! This is more than a hostel. It's an experience. Don't stay cooped up in a regular hotel. Come party with the coolest crew in Barcelona (and in my opinion, all of Europe)!!

Booked for one night. Needed a place to crash before my onward journey to Madrid. Nice comfy bunks, linen. Shared bathrooms on each floor along with shared toilets. Cleaning happens every day, I think they also have laundry service (I didn't avail it). They got towels on rent, free wifi, plug points by the bed. 1 night stay was good. Air con was amazing and 100% essential and nice blackout curtains. My light didnt work in my bed and toilets weren't clean and were stinky. Other than that everything was good.

It's not the cheapest hostel and that definitely shows. I enjoyed my stay here! The beds aren't the best but they're comfy enough with a curtain for privacy and stopping the light. The facility is clean and they encourage social interactions by having things like free sangria on their roof terrace as well as bar crawls. The staff aren't the nicest but of course they're not your friends, they're just doing their job. Metro lines 1 & 5 are a 5 minute walk, so it's decently connected to transport.

The BEST hostel we stayed in so far on our trip through Europe. Everybody is super friendly, fun and helpful. You’ll meet amazing people, everything’s clean and it’s a lot of fun especially if you like to party! Would definitely stay here again!

The service/staff is amazing, everyone is so kind and welcoming. Special shoutout to Bel, her energy is amazing and she's always happy to help with anything. Definitely worth staying here if you're wanting to make connections and have lots of fun

Wonderful experience.. rooms are not big but my favourite was that once you pull your curtains your bed is completely dark. Although you need some earplugs for snoring roommates. Apart from that everything was nice . Staff is organising various hangouts which is great for people who don't know anyone in the city. If you are traveling alone it is definitely a place for you.

Onefam is a great hostel to meet people and have a fun time in Barcelona. It's very social, but the dorms are quiet so you can sleep well. Staff is super friendly, Charlotte was really nice and helpful at the reception and I had a great party night with Iago.

The experience at the Onefans hostel was beyond that I expected! The location it’s great, near to metro and buses stop. I had nice walks close to the hostel, alone, till mid of afternoon and I felt safe. (I dont know at late night). The hostel has a lot of differents spaces to make yourself cozy even in a rainy day. Half work half pleasure, a great chilled out small hostel with a family feel of staff mixing with guests constantly. Never had to queue for showers etc., so living here where it is constantly cleaned and not feeling overcrowded makes this place feel confortable. The place is great, the atmosphere is very friendly as well as the staff. The check in was very easy to and in my case it was made by a lovely Brazilian girl called Caro! I would definitely stay again there if I was around.
