Great location however the electric on the headboard did not work and they did not compensate me or transfer my room. Also I mistakenly checked out with the door key card and received very insulting email from the gentleman at the front desk Nori. He was going to charge $60:00 American for this. I would not stay for the money they charge. Hostel staff was rude and did not offer proper help

Be careful when booking the PRIVATE SINGLE ROOM, it's advertised as a nice room with cosy décoration and a nice view, but I ended up with a 2m by 2m box with no window... Kind of claustrophobic. I'm not even sure it's legal to rent this kind of rooms which looks more like a closet.

Dirty and smelly. Broken facilities. Toilet shoes are not sanitary.

Private room smelt super damp and the place was pretty cramped overall. Disappointing because it reads good!

This hostel has a unique Jamaican theme and is not social. In terms of value for money, it is super close to the main area but the facilities were rubbish, my bedroom had a window that was super loud and bright in the mornings and my floor had furniture all over the place and getting a towel from staff was a hassle.

The hostel was quite run down and was not as clean as reviews suggested, parts were quite dusty and grimy and the room felt like it was falling apart. Slept terribly as our room was next to a very loud road and windows were bad with no sound proofing. There were blinds but they did not work at all and the room became very bright early in the morning. There weren't many toilets for the amount of people sharing. I would not recommend this hostel.

The male manager was often angry and treating the guest like they were criminals. I never felt comfortable being inside the hostel as I was scared of doing something that makes the manager angry again.

So dirty and rundown and barely any AC! They say it has AC but when you get there, it turns out they only put the AC on after 6 pm and off in the morning first thing, and the bathrooms, showers, and areas to get ready all are not air conditioned so they are miserable to get ready in as you’re constantly sweating in the summer. The building is dirty and not well maintained, and the mixed dorm has a ROTTEN smell that a worker told us has been there for months.

Really nice hostel, amazing chill area and good facilities. Really nice staff and owner, they were really kind and caring with me when I stayed there and was really sick. Definitely recommend.

The man who checked me in was great, most of the staff was also nice and friendly except the one man that silently stepped in to refill the hand soap while I was using the hand sink, and he sounded a bit sick. He took uncomfortably long while and another customer had to wait for him to finish. It was a bit invasive. Also when I moved the mattress to readjust my sheets, a dank smell came up (went away when I put it down). Other than those two minor things, great place.

I was a bit disappointed by the place, I wouldn’t recommend it to a family or somebody over 27. The rooms are smelly and the people talk and hang out in the door rooms, which is hard to sleep on. Laundry room is fine, but dryer you have to pay 3 times for it to dry properly? Which is almost as much as one night pay. If you’re under a budget and young, it’s. A great choice. Wonderful Hostel. Really nice beds, heating and super close to everything for a really good price.

I liked this place a lot. Didn’t have a window in my room which was great because I was able to knock out upon arrival after a long day traveling but if you’d like a window you should probably ask. The staff was great. And they have a kitchen so you can cook all the Wagyu you want.

The beds were very comfortable. The people there were all super chatty and inclusive. The common space was fantastic with the music. Overall very chill as the name suggests. Would stay here again

This was a bad hostel experience. Besides the location and nice guy that helped me at the front desk, i could not wait to leave this place. The floors looked like they havent been cleaned in years. I was walking to the bathroom early in the morning and stepped on what looked like a turd, was actually someones nasty dreadlock. But God forbid you wear your shoes in the hostel. The walls are paper thin, the people next to me are coughing loudly and having full conversations (its 3am currently)

The location and cleanliness of the bathrooms are what stood out to me. These are just great. For some reason my room felt very damp. Maybe because it was above the showers? The towels sizes are also very uneven. The one I got on my 2nd day was almost half the size of the previous one. I also couldn't get a fresh one on my departure day given no one was at the front desk. I also wasn't very fond of the "do not lock" on the door handles. A+++++ Perfect place and easy walking to Main stations.

A lovely hostel, I love the pod-style bunks, they're very comfortable and give a sense of privacy in a room of 12. Plenty of space to store a suitcase in the room with multiple there. Facilities were clean and the main lounge always smelled nice with incense. Good location, quick walk from Namba station, multiple metros close by, and only 15 mins walk to Dotonbori area. Would stay here again.
