Octopus Garden

This place was exactly what I was looking for. It is a low key, relaxed, social hostel. Most people who stay here are retirees, but we had a good time. Great location and good kitchen. We did get bit by mosquitos every night even with bug spray and fans.

Aruna is incredibly helpful and kind. Although short I did enjoy my time at The Octopus Garden.

Our second visit to Octopus Garden. We love everything about this hostel. This hostel has a very big studio with a very large mirror if you're interested in classes of yoga danse etc. The price is good, the hostel is well situated and the staff and volunteers are really great!

Nice Place to relex with a very friendly owner.

It is a very sweet spot to land during this low season. Quiet at night, other than the natural sounds of the rain and cicadas. There is much heart and many years poured into creating this space for travelers. Mangos fall from the tree each night, and maybe one or two that the resident turtle doesn't get to, go into my breakfast bowl. There are clean towels & mosquito nets for the beds with good internet & a nice shared kitchen. Disfruta de la paz.
