+ Was available last minute, very short walk to lifts
- Backpacker vibe, room wasn’t well vacuumed, previous guest marks under toilet seat. Common room noise starts very early, kitchen was a mess. Breakfast, although paid for, was abandoned due to cleanliness of facilities. Wasn’t given a room key! Quite a poor induction to the property.

住了四天沒任何打掃或清潔，房間垃圾也在，回看訂單收取清潔費不知是什麼用途。 房間兩扇門，但隔音不太好，地面層休閒區或廚房聚會太吵時，上層房間也沒法避免。房屋使用木地板，愛走動的住客破困擾早睡人仕。 廚房煮食一個團體很合適，但兩個團體則不太足夠，需夾時間避免一起煮食為佳。 可免費使用洗衣及乾衣服務最為滿意。 住客可付車費按每位收取，乘坐...
Stayed four days without any cleaning or cleaning, room garbage is also there, return order charged cleaning fee not knowing what purpose it is for. rooms two doors, but the isolation is not very good, ground floor recreation area or rooms too crowded, upstairs room too can't be avoided. houses use wooden floors, love to move around disturbing residents early sleepers. cooking room eating a group is suitable, but two groups are not enough, it takes time to avoid cooking together as a rule....
Fantastic location, mediocre facilities for $. Unfortunately with doors closed, could still hear the kitchen/common downstairs. Room reverberated anything from walkways, particularly if someone used the stairs, which affected sleep until ~11pm. Ended up finding a local onsen to bathe at, as hot water was inconsistent for showering Free breakfast was good, sadly didn’t get mentioned in brief & we were off early each morning, so only aware for the last couple. But my fault for not reading up...

+ Super friendly staff. Great value for money. Lots of fun. Very casual and very friendly. Great blend of clientele.
+ I like that the hot water from the shower stall was reliable. The 6-person dorm had good storage spaces for baggage and the bed was comfortable. The property was a great fit for my trip as I was there to ski a little at Tsugaike. The shuttle service is very convenient for getting us to the ski resorts or the bus terminal in the morning.

+ Does what it promises, very good location and neat & relaxed lodge for skiing activities.
+ Thanks Tor and Jack. Everything are all amazing. Walk 5 min to tsugaike resort. Friendly people, comfor bed, clean space, good kitchen, living room, breakfast and dry room. Have shuttle bus by cheaper price go around all ski resort. Hope come back soon and stay longer.

Honestly 10/10- one of my favourite hostels. Very social but not a party house, staff were super friendly, had brekkie available every morning and super close to Tsugaike gondola which was probably my fav ski run in Hakuba
One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at! Very clean, good breakfast, and great staff. The manager (Tor) is incredible. Goes above and beyond for the guests staying there. She’s always making sure everything is running smoothly, helping the guests out with whatever they need, and always keeping the place clean. Is also a riot to have a few beers and play a couple games of crud with!

Best hostel we stayed at in Japan, highly recommend this place! 11/10
+ Super social, great vibes. Two minute walk to the ski hill. Easy to hope on buses to check out other ones. Got a pick up when I got in, amazing. Staff are incredible friend and helpful. Wish I would have stayed longer.
Such a great hostel for a solo traveller. A very social environment with a pool table and other like minded people to hang out with. Would definitely recommend this place!

+ As a cheap, yet joyful experience, to be able to experience Japan’s snow sports season on a budget, this is an amazing spot! It’s exactly what you would expect and better, for a hostel.
