Booze & Snooze Social Hostel

This was the filthiest, most disgusting hostel I ever stayed in. My bedding and sheets had old blood stains on them. The bathrooms were filthy, smelled of vomit and damp. The cleaners didnt clean the vomit properly, so it stank for 3 days in our dorm. No locks for any doors. It is an “australian hostel”, so it attracts loads of cliquey australians who dont mingle outside their group. Staff were friendly. i wouldnt recommend staying here. the worst part about it was the bathroom & shower. the bathroom smelled so bad you had to hold your breath the whole time & there was vomit all over the shower. this was around 8-9pm. it was so disgusting. also the beds are terrible & shake so much i woke up multiple times thinking there was an earthquake. the next morning the bathroom wasn't better smelling, i don't know if they can't tell or what. this is where the sink is too so brushing teeth etc was ROUGH

One of the worst hostels I stayed at. Very very dirty. Have to pay to store luggage. No common spaces (only a tiny terrace that closes at 10pm). Thank god the hostel volunteers were great. Thats the only good thing about this place.

Entire feel of the hostel was dirty - from the weak bed frames, gross sheets and cover. Security was minimal with no where to lock up or store belongings. I came back to a man sleeping in my bed with his shoes on. Very disappointing.

Disappointing stay. Staff unfriendly and mixed messages. Online said card payment was fine but when we arrived cash payment required and staff wanted full amount up front. Strange layout of hostel and no social spaces and no atmosphere.

Cette auberge de jeunesse est extrêmement bien située et assez safe. Pour ce qui est de l’ambiance et de la relation avec le personnel, je ne recommande pas. Le staf ne dis à peine bonjour et il n’y a aucune activités d’organiser. Il n’y a pas d’espace commun (difficile pour faire des rencontres) et les chambres ne sont pas propres.

Only event they organize is drinking games on the deck, leaving for 3 hours to the bar they own, the only bar in Europe where the machines tip prompt (10,15,20%) I work hospo in Canada and laughed out loud, leading to the worst rated club in split. Every night, same itinerary. You can tell the volunteer drinking leaders are sick of it. Nowhere to wipe hands in bathroom, small lockers, no curtains, leaking AC. I would of left a higher review but for whatever reason (greed im assuming) they just overbook this place and stick people into a 4 star hostel for the same price. Seemed like a racket, didn’t really respect this move, false advertising.

**BED BUGS** I told management that I had been bitten and all I asked was that they pay to wash my clothes. their response was 'we can buy you a beer at Charlie's' (Charlie's is a an affiliate bar). further conversation led to an offer tovcancel (no refund) the night at 8pm at night and I said it's too late now and stayed.

Auberge très bien placé avec de bons animateurs mais manque de sécurité et malheureusement aucun espace commun et aucun équipement de cuisine. De plus un seul sanitaire pour chaque étage pour le niveau d’occupations c’est trop peu.

Had great time met great people, prime location.

hele fijne leuk gezellige sfeer. leuke mensen, fijn personeel, leuke activiteiten. goede plek om mensen te ontmoeten. hygiëne kan beter. de badkamer in onze kamer stonk naar put en riool. ik werd hier snacht soms zelfs van wakker. verder is alles goed

The hostel was clean and very calm in the night. I had a great night of sleep here. Location is perfect

As expected, facilities were minimal, (wobbley beds, crammed rooms, too few bathrooms, no kitchen). We still chose this place since we expected a super social party hostel hosting activities, and were very disappointed. There were no activities or socializing whatsoever, not even a common area or any recommendations. We spoke to many other guests who felt the same. The local staff was kind enough, but seemed almost as uninformed as us, assigning us wrong beds and clearing them ahead of time.

Really enjoyed my time here. Great staff. Noah, Sofia, Caitlyn and Zoe were excellent. They were always making sure that everyone was having fun. Would definitely recommend this hostel.

Location is very central. The beds are very noisy, the bathroom for the 11 pax dorm is very tiny and has no ventilation. The lockers are also very small (just big enough for like personal belongings) and there is limited space for a big suitcase. You need to bring your own lock for the lockers.

The hostel had a great location, close to everything. The staff organized fun activities that made it easy for everyone to mingle and meet new people, which created a really social atmosphere. The room itself was clean and nice, though the bathroom did have some mold that could use attention. Overall, a good stay with an excellent location and friendly, social vibe.

War ein super Ort, um Leute kennenzulernen. Personal war sehr nett, die Lage ist toll.

Pretty average stay. The location is amazing and the staff/volunteers were really great and did a good job of getting the vibes going. The beds were really noisy and the bathroom was pretty grim and would flood. The shower hook was also broken. It’s a really small sized hostel too so feels a bit cramped. There was a random guy in the rooms one night rummaging about which isn’t great but the door does have a code and you are giving keys to lock ur dorm door.

Good socializing Hostel in Split! Daily day and night activities, met a lot of people!! Had an excellent stay

Good hostel in a good location. Not the most room but was fine. Decent outdoor patio, but it closed at 10pm.

It was a social hostel yes, but they only go to bars that are for 21+ so it was a little unfortunate for some of the people staying to not be able to go to the bars.

One was one of my least favourite. Our room was in the attic of another room, with a dodgy bannister to get up. Bathroom (between 11 of us) was tiny and not very clean. The bathroom door didn’t shut properly so it woke everyone up in the mornings. Shower head didn’t even hang on the wall properly. In our attic you couldn’t even sit up in bed without smashing your head on the wall. Barely any storage room. Obviously wasn’t expecting luxury but I expected a better facilities for the price
