Coco Cave Pension

This place ruined my vacation. Yesterday I woke up extremely thirsty and needed water to take my medicine. I went to where they were serving breakfast and they said because I had the the website price I did not get breakfast. That was 100% ok, but could i please get a bottle of water or maybe they had filtered water to take some medicine with. The women said no because I had the hostel world price. She told me to drink the tap water- i was so desperate i did and got HorRIBLy sick l.

Location is nice and close to almost everything in Goreme.

This is not a hostel - its a hotel. The rooms are nice and no major complaints other than the main person in charge was pretty irritating, I wouldn't rely on them for booking hot air balloons. They weren't very professional. I wish I did a bit more searching of hotels to see if there were any available at this price point before booking, but location was very good.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The owner is a gentleman who cares about those who stay there and is willing to help in anybody he can with whatever he can. I would highly recommend to stay at this location. The rooms are wonderful and well equipped.

I had a really nice stay here. Metin, the owner, made sure that all of my needs were met and he answered any questions I had with a smile! I was really happy with my room. It wasn’t huge but it was still spacious. I even had a little outdoor patio! The only reason I didn’t give a full 10 is just because of the price. Cappadocia is really expensive and the value seems not to make much sense. So, this was relatively reasonable and Metin made sure to do whatever he could for each guest alike!

After the busyness of Istanbul, Coco Cave was perfect for my stay in Cappadocia. Metin is an incredible host who truly makes sure you have everything you need (and ensures you have the best price for the sunrise balloons!). So happy with my stay here as it was exactly what I needed and I absolutely fell in love with Göreme. Would come back again for sure!

I really enjoyed Goreme & Cappadocia! Coco Cave was a great location, I just wished some of the steps weren’t quite so treacherous. I looked at many of the Hotels in the area & all had steps, some constructed them very carefully, & were comfortable to tread on, but some were quite dangerous, especially for older people.

I stayed at the Coco Cave Pension from Oct 16-Oct 18, 2022. The property is located in a central area - very close to several restaurants, sites, pick up locations for tours, etc. The rooms certainly give you a feeling of staying in a cave. The property also has a very nice rooftop with beautify views. The staff is friendly. I would recommend staying at this location. Be advised that: -depending on where your room is located, there might be several step stairs to climb -the rooms and bathroom...

The room is nice, could be cleaner but it's ok. Everyone there was friendly and helpful.

The cave was very unique and interesting. There were problems tho: there is no air conditioning, even tho it says it has it. The caves do get hot. The beds were uncomfortable. They didn’t have our room we booked available so had to put us in one and then move us, which is always a pain to deal with. And lastly, the biggie - the en-suite bathroom stunk like sewage the whole time. To the point we didn’t hardly want to use it. Because of the smell, I wouldn’t stay there again unfortunately.

Lovely place to stay! The rooms are big and the bathrooms are nice. Suzan and Metin are amazing. Metin can get you any tour you ask for. We didn't have our Hot Air balloon ride organized and he was able to get us a good price for it and even got up early and waited with us to make sure we got into the correct van. Suzan is great and always down to have a cup of tea and chat. Would stay here again if I was ever in the area again!

Excelente alojamiento. La ubicación en el centro de Goreme y el cuarto realmente es una cueva súper acogedora, bien iluminada y ventilada. Pero lo que hace a este lugar de una gran experiencia son los anfitriones: Mitin y Susan. We liked our stay at Coco cave in Cappadocia! Metin and Susan really made us feel at home, and on top of that, acted as the perfect travel agency by finding the best prices for several activities. We would recommend everyone to stay here!

Lovely little b&b. Felt comfortable enough here. Not really a hostel atmosphere. it's in a quiet part of town but walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was a good size. The local kitties were super cute and friendly. Metin, the host, was friendly and helpful; He would always find me the best price on tours and activities. Thank you for a nice stay.

Mi madre y yo estuvimos alojados en Coco Cave y fue una experiencia muy agradable desde el día 1. Sus dueños nos recibieron con un delicioso té y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. La habitación estaba en inmejorables condiciones, limpia ordenada y comfortable. El hotel tiene una ubicación excepcional y sus dueños son afables y serviciales. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Coco Cave Hotel. My stay at Coco Cave was perfect. Metin and his partner Suzan were so sweet and welcoming and made me feel like family. Even tho it’s a hotel and I had my own room I never felt lonely with them. Metin helped me pick out my tours and found me the best prices (reach out to him before booking anything online), they made me tea and chatted with me and even kept me company while I waited for my night bus. I highly recommend staying here.

Metin & his team and Coco Cave hostel were wonderful - it was great to stay there & get to know them over some tea. Metin made the reservation of activities (including air balloon-ing) fast and easy. He was responsive to any arising needs, including airport transport and even prior to me arriving had excellent communication when I was seeking information. The shower water pressure was great. Towel holder fell when I tried to use - but had an insignificant impact on my trip. I highly recommend.

Best place to stay in Goreme!!!! Suzan & Metin are the kindest & most welcoming hosts, really felt like it was home! They help arrange tours & transportation. They always go the extra mile and are incredibly warm! You can tell how much they love their job and their guests!!! It was sad to leave them and my beautiful cave room that was magical to sleep in! This accommodation was one of the best part on my trip! It's got the heart of a hostel but the rooms of a hotel. Owners Susan and Metin made my stay memorable, easy, safe, and comfortable. They helped me arrange my airport transportation, book activities, and answered all my questions. I recommend this place to everyone and I would stay here again & again!

Better than the pictures! This was one of the best hostel stays I’ve ever had. Facilities, location, staff, everything was absolutely perfect and made me and my husband really want to extend our time in Cappadocia. We’ll be back!

This is a real gem of a place to stay! The location is close to the restaurants and small town, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the owners are incredibly welcoming. Susan (Australian) and Mettan her partner made me feel like part of their family. As a solo traveller I felt at home straightaway. They arranged some tours for me, a hot air balloon trip, a Turkish Night of entertainment and meal, and Susan even joined me for that. I was even invited to join them for dinner.

The people who run this Hostel are so kind and trustworthy! if you are going to book a tour or a hot air balloon ride, do it through them! The room I stayed in was absolutely beautiful. great experience overall, and I have already recommended this Hostel to others

Not a hostel—but a fantastic stay! Coco Cave Pension feels more like a hotel, so don’t expect the social hostel vibe. It’s peaceful, very clean, and a great base in Göreme. Mitin, the owner, goes above and beyond—he’s protective over safety on the property and takes great care of his guests.
