Yolo Hostel Medellin

Got 1,000,000 pesos stolen here and the staff were not helpful at all when it happened. They have very few cameras including no cameras pointed at the door that stores the luggage. When I came to get my luggage from the storage, the door was open and not locked. I talked to the staff about the door being opened when I retrieved my luggage and asked if they had a camera but they got defensive since obviously they do not want the stolen money to be because of their lack of safety measures

Honnêtement déçu, ambiance froide, toutes les sorties proposées sont payantes et pas données, seule auberge qui ne propose pas de café le matin. Nous avons pu accéder tôt à notre chambre, donc agréable mais pour un bon supplément… ambiance bizarre, et les wc étaient fermés à clés (personne n’était à l’intérieur) j’ai du aller demander de les ouvrir, sinon pas de wc sur place…

Très bruyant les gens jouaient au domino très tard le soir. Endroit difficile à trouver pas vraiment de enseigné indicatrice, dortoir dans la salle de jeu .pas de lumière , ni de prise ou. De ventilateur près du lit ni de rideau intimité les toilettes sont loin du dortoir et insuffisant pour le nombre de personnes présentes dans l' hostel. Mc hostel a besoin de revoir ses dortoirs et les remettre au besoins du temps.

Les lits en metal âgés de 10 ans vous font basculer au moindre mouvement . Certains casiers sont cassés laissant vos sacs sans protection contre le vol. Ce matin , l'eau de la douche était froide. En 2025, on pourrait espérer avoir une prise électrique pour chaque lit et des rideaux pour un minimum d'intimité . Je ne comprend pas les commentaires positifs. I stayed at this hostel because of the good reviews, but I was fooled by the good reviews and this hostel is to be avoided. The staff speaks badly there is zero social interaction with people hostel very unsociable and after 21h they ask you to leave the kitchen. The beds are very bad, the lockers were broken I had my charger stolen. I don't understand how they can have such a high rating. You can find much better accommodation in Medellin.

No recomiendo la experiencia, son súper groseros. Pareciera que solo les importan los turistas. Desde la recepción hasta los diferentes empleados mantienen una mala actitud. ( menos la muchacha y don Milton).

Hier würde ich lieber 0 Sterne geben. Das einzige, was einen Stern verdient, ist das Frühstück bei Bettys Bowls. Aufgrund eines angeblichen Systemfehlers bei Booking bat man mich booking zu stornieren und bot mir ein deutlich minderwertiges Zimmer an. Auf meine Beschwerde hin gab's dann ein Zimmer mit vielen Betten. Handtuch muss man grundsätzlich extra zahlen. Ein zweiter Gast war im Booking Tarif mit drin. Durfte aber noch nicht mal zum Koffer abholen mit aufs Zimmer. Es gibt wirklich toll...

Unfriendly and rude staff. Dirty. Dead. There is no vibe and you’re in the worst part of el poblado.

הגענו עם שיריון מקום מראש. במקום נמסרו מחירים גבוהים מששריינו ומאלה שמשלמים חברינו שהתארחו באותם התאריכים שלנו. יחס מתחת לכל ביקורת. אמליץ לחפש הוסטל אחר ולא להישאר שם.

חברים לא להתקרב לשם! הצוות מתנהג מסריח וסתם יקר שם. The service of the hostel is horrible! They were not nice at all. We try to talk with them and everytime we tried, they respond rudely. We left the hostel shamed, disrespected and disappointed. Totaly NOT RECOMMENDED. Oh and they change their prices to each person by the mood of the worker in the front desk. There are much better places near by😌

We stayed here for 4 nights and had such an amazing time! It’s such a peaceful hostel with really helpful staff. Frederico the owner gave us a tour of the city with real insights of its history;one of the days and it was a highlight of our trip! It’s very clean and the free breakfast is such a treat.

Fabulous hostel! Great price and location, rooms were big and clean. It wasn’t the busiest in terms of meeting people but perfect for a few chill days in Medellin!

We had a great 4 night stay in YOLO. The room was very comfortable, toilets were spotless and showers were lovely and hot. Frederico the owner was a gent and his staff were extremely nice. Frederico took us on an insightful city tour that I can’t recommend enough. It was the highlight of our stay. Overall a 10/10 stay at yolo .

I had a wonderful time here and would highly recommend. The garden is beautiful and the breakfast is delicious and very generous. It is a very social hostel with a good atmosphere but quiet and peaceful too. The staff were so helpful. 10/10 :)

I had a great time in the hostel. The staff is super nice and helps you with every question. It is very clean. And the garden is perfect to chill and watch birds. I ended up staying longer than I planned :)

Great hostel with friendly and helpful staff in Medellín, el Poblado. The hostel offers peace and relaxation and the lively centre of el Poblado is within walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. The breakfast is fresh and absolutely recommended. I was in total almost two weeks in the hostel and can absolutely recommend it. Muchas gracias Federico y todo el equipo por todo.

Es la segunda vez que reservo en este hostal! Me encanta la atencion del personal, los tours de Federico el dueño son súper chéveres, el desayuno siempre me encanta, el café es deli y reservé otra vez por que la locación es súper cerca a todo lo chévere para caminar !

The hostel is cute & clean, with well-kept common areas. The location is great. I felt safe exploring the area during the day. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant is excellent, though it doesn’t open until 8am. My private room felt a bit dark and worn down, and I was told not to touch the blinds so that bugs didnt fall down into the bed, which was right under the window. I was qutie cold at night and woke up feeling damp. The garden and hammocks are lovely.

Breakfast was a small portion, but it was very delicious (and i think even vegan?). Otherwise, it was a rather quiet hostel. The showers were warm and had good water pressure.

It's very spacious, friendly staff & a good neighboorhood if you're down for dancing!! ;) ps: the smoothie bowl is also a nice extra

Ricky at the front desk was super helpful. It was a quiet and chill place to stay.

Location is great. Dorm rooms are very small. The beds don’t have curtains so no privacy at all in mixed dorms. It’s not a party hostel or hard to socialize. But it’s located near the best party places. So overall great

Really great hostel, we arrived early on Sunday morning and we were allowed to leave our bags which was great! It is up the top of the El Poblado hill but it’s great for access to the bustling nightlife but without being too loud when trying to sleep. The free breakfast was lovely.
