All toilets were broken on my floor. Had to go upstairs. Very tight spaces that generally felt unclean... Room smelled bad. Luggage was kept under beds, increasing risk of bed bugs. I’m rating higher than I feel I should because it’s still better than the average hostel in Amsterdam, in my experience... No hard feelings, but if you want nice hostels, go anywhere else in Europe. 😆

Leider sind die Betten Sehr dreckig. Sie werden nicht nach jedem Besucher gewaschen. Ich hatte sehr viele Bettwanzen stiche in den Tagen als ich dort war. Den schweiss des vorschläfers konnte man sehr stark riechenFür mich ein No Go

No idea why people keep complaining about the stairs, yes its not for people who are not able to walk but its a typical Amsterdam building with a narrow staircase, guess there is nothing the hostel can do about it. I was positively surprised by this Hostel. I payed like 22 euros which is much less than elsewhere and they had nice recommendations for places to eat and the mattress was very comfy! The people were chilled and the location is good and save. I am happy I did not stay in the inner city, way to crowded. Also for me a major plus, there were NO bed bugs! Also if you are a light sleeping just don’t book a party hostel and then complain about it. If you are able to sleep with earplugs and some noise you will love this place! I slept like a baby. If you expect a 5 star hotel go somewhere else, this is a nice little hostel with some mold here and there, but nothing crazy, it’s just the old building. Bring a locker to lock your stuff under the bed. :)

Great experience, this was my first hostel experience and it was clean, staff was friendly, showers were nice, no bed bugs, and the bar area was a lot of fun. Also within walking distance of a lot of stuff, which was really nice.

on the high-average side of the spectrum for dormitory hostel. great neighborhood, quiet but not shady. walking distance to amsterdam center, feel safe during the night big room, 12 bed is kinda crowded but there’s definitely enough space. no bed bugs or other hygienic issue. toilets and showers are clean. the bar is lovely, staff and other customers are nice. overall it’s a great experience for me.

Auberge chère et dégueulasse, on y choppe des punaises de lit. Entassés à 12 dans 10m2, impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres. Surtout ne pas tenter

Hat alles was man braucht. Hat eine Bar, ein Billard, man kann sogar ein Tütchen in aller Ruhe rauchen 😃. Frühstuck inklusive. Kann gut als Party Hostel bezeichnet werden. NEGATIV: Ich wurde Leider von “Bed Bugs” gebissen...nicht gut!

Terrible place. All what they can offer are bed bugs bites.
