Hobo Hostel

Great place and especially great caretaker of the place :D The main guy drove me to supermarket and definitely took care and was very supportive. Beautiful view as well and food smells so good (didnt order yet). Only downside was that its a bit cold in evenings and nights!

What amazing place to stay! We arrived with a group of 7 people including a 10 month old baby. Atit was the most welcoming host you could imagine. He recommended us what to do in the area, gave us precious tips on how to use buses and trains in India and cooked the most delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners for us. I stopped counting the many chai and ginger lemon teas we drank on the 1st floor with a view on mountains, the valley and the cristal clear river. Highly recommend Hobo Hostel!

We had an amazing time at Hobo. It provided peace, calm and safety, away from the chaos of local towns. The hostel is tucked away in a quiet valley about 30 mins from Dharamshala, McLeod Ganj and surrounding villages. The host Atit could not be more welcoming, hospitable and helpful; he was always there to help with our requests and provide reliable recommendations. The food is home-cooked, organic, delicious and cheap. Perfect if you are looking for beautiful scenery and peace at a great price.

The hostel is located about 30 minutes by car from McLeod Ganj, but the surroundings are very beautiful and quiet. All the facilities were decent, and we had a warm shower, which was great. The owner was extremely friendly and helped us out wih a lot of information. Would recommend staying here for the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly owner!
