The Legacy by 2GO4 City Center

There were bed bugs in the room. I woke up at the middle of night to the noise of a girl in my room. She was bitten by many bed bugs and there was also many in her bag. I was afraid to sleep at room so I waited at lobby till morning. I asked for a refund but they told me that they inspected the room and yes, there was bed bugs but not on my side. They rejected my refund request with this ridiculous explanation, which makes them look even worse. Also, everything closed at 11. Which type of an elevator stops working at 11? I am not someone who expects too much. I just wanted a clean room and a working elevator, or at least a fair organisation that accepts their fault. This hostel confirm none of those, therefore, I do not recommend it.

I stayed here for five nights, and on my last night I found a bed bug in my bed. I instinctively killed it before thinking to take a photo, but I am absolutely certain it was a bed bug. I have no idea whether it fell from the top bunk or crawled out from under the mattress. Since it happened late at night, the reception was closed, so I couldn’t report it. I barely slept because I was worried about being bitten. The next morning I carefully checked all of my belongings and the mattress I had been sleeping on, but I couldn’t find any other signs of bed bugs. Even so, the experience left me with a very negative impression. I would also like to mention that the cleanliness of the hostel was very poor. It honestly looked as if the place hadn’t been cleaned properly at all.

Voglio iniziare con una nota positiva: l’Hostel Legacy 2g04 City Center gode di una posizione eccellente nel cuore di Bruxelles, che ci ha permesso di muoverci con facilità. Nel complesso, l’atmosfera della vacanza è stata divertente e abbiamo apprezzato la vivacità della città. Tuttavia, la nostra esperienza è stata completamente rovinata dalle gravissime carenze igieniche della struttura. ​Fin dall’ingresso in camera, la pulizia è apparsa carente: l'ambiente era estremamente impolverato e abbiamo trovato peli ovunque, segno che la stanza non era stata preparata adeguatamente. ​Purtroppo, il problema principale è emerso poco dopo. Uno dei componenti del gruppo ha iniziato a manifestare pesanti irritazioni cutanee e, a seguito di una visita medica, la diagnosi è stata traumatica: punture da cimici da letto (bedbugs). Come mostrano le foto che allego, i segni dell'infestazione sono evidenti e molto dolorosi. ​È davvero un peccato che un soggiorno iniziato sotto i migliori auspici si sia trasformato in un rischio per la salute. Nonostante il divertimento del viaggio, non posso assolutamente consigliare questa struttura: il rischio di portarsi questi parassiti a casa e il disagio fisico subito superano qualsiasi vantaggio legato alla posizione. Spero che la gestione intervenga immediatamente con una disinfestazione professionale.

L’établissement est idéalement situé et à l’air propre en apparence. Mais une punaise de lit de a été retrouvé dans ma chambre.

This is the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in, I wish I could give it a zero. When we arrived, the bathroom door was broken in our room of six people and would not close. There was a mosquito infestation (Sept. 2025) and we received so many bug bites (>50 each) we thought that we had bedbugs. We had to get medicine to treat the bites and when we explained to the staff member at the front desk that we couldn’t stay and had to check out early, they would only refund us for the last day of our trip.

the room was on the top floor and aircon was not functional, had to open the windows in the toilet to let the air flow in, else we be cooked! there were many mosquitoes in the room, they kept flying near my ear, and one even tried to enter my nostril! sleep was bad because of that. quite near some pub, so the thumping of the bass lasted quite long into the night, with lots of hooligans in the streets shouting. UPDATE: BEDBUG BITES ARE SHOWING OMG 7 BITES ON MY RIGHT ARM UGH!!

Got bedbug bites while staying in room 201

they have bed bugs!!! I got so many bites and I am not recommend it to anyone! My whole body has so many bites and it is so itching ! I have to call a day sick leave to check the doctor

I stayed 4 nights in the 6 female dorm with private bathroom Pros: -Close to some parts of the Center -Quiet and calm ambiance -Nice reception staff -Has a kitchen -Has an elevator -Storage room Cons: -Unclean beds (woke up 3 days in a row with bed bug bites) -Unclean bathroom -Cleaning lady kinda mean. Bed bugs! My second day in Brussels I started feeling very itchy and during the day I developed a lot of bruises as I have allergy to bites. Next day was even worse. 3 weeks on and I still have all the marks all over my feet, breast and arms. I couldn't complain personally as I checked out at 4 am but nobody answered to my emails so I guess they don't even care.

Unfortunately, I had to leave a night early as I had a major bed bug issue. I was placed on the top floor with no AC and the room smelt terrible. The lobby and management was nice, although refused to even let me cancel my next night.
