Daryll and one of the housekeeping staff (Forgive me for not remembering her name)- but she had the most beautiful curls-they were both such a pleasure to have met and chat with and provided outstanding service. I'll definitely be coming back on my next trip around the world!

Cool destination in downtown El Paso. The movie area and pool table in the basement provide a great space for connecting with others in the hostel/hotel. The building is very well maintained. The character and history behind the hotel provide a unique atmosphere and one that was inviting. The bathrooms are all well maintained and are very well designed. Thank you for maintaining this historic building and welcoming guests to El Paso. Don't forget to check out the mountains while in town.

Very nice hostel with great decor, the facilities were great and everything was clean. Was only here for one night so I didn't have time to check out the social area, but it was an excellent place to stay.

9/10 - Excellent location! Near everything, street car, bars, downtown!

Wonderful hostel! Quaint and historic. The staff is great and really helpful. Cafes and clubs just around corner too.

I liked this hostel. It is historic and very much plays that up. Cormac McCarthy lived here, I'm a fan of his so I thought that was cool. It was pretty quiet when I was there but the people I did meet were chill. Parking right in front was convenient. Good location right in downtown El Paso. The hallway was dimly lit and a bit dusty.

I had a great stay at the Gardner hotel! The staff are helpful and very informative. The hotel is historic and charming with a telephone booth from back in the day. Everything was very good. There's a lovely cafe next door, which has amazing food. The location is close to the train station and the Museum of Art and the Museum of History. I look forward to staying here again soon.
