Kruger Inn Backpackers

I love this hostel very much, The tours are fantastic, Alison is very helpful with service and etc. You are able to see all the animals in the proximity, and it was incredible I fell in love with it 😍❤️

Everything was perfect and I had a wonderful time in that hostel. Excellent location and very nice room. Highly recommendable

The hostel is situated in a natural reserve with animals roaming around, so basically a free safari! Expect then a lot of insects especially at night, but I’d say this is living in the nature 🙃 The host was lovely and laid back, giving tips on where to walk around Marloth Park during a rainy period. The place is very well designed, cozy, making it easy to socialize. Maybe the only negative side is that the rooms would get very humid when raining.

We had such a great stay in the Kruger Inn Backpackers. The atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. We felt safe and at home. Cor was a fantastic host and very helpful and we sat together in the evening and had nice talks. All around we would definitely recommend this Hostel!

Eine wirklich günatige aber dennoch schöne Unterkunft in eienrm Park gelegen. In dem darf man kostenlos rein, kann parktisch alle Tiere sehen die man auch im Krüger sehen kann und ddarf da auch alleine in der Nacht rumfahren.

Alison and Corr are the most kind, and accommodating hosts. They scheduled our “Sunrise Safari” and received a pick-up straight from this cozy hostel. Open seating areas for both dining and relaxing (on comfy sofas). The wild animals included bushbuck, warthogs, mongoose families and numerous birds including the “Go Away” all coming and going on site! The shops and eateries are all within a short drive’s distance. We will be back HERE if ever back in South Africa. Best Hostel ever ex...

I LOVED staying at Kruger Inn. Neverfelt more welcome in a hostel. It felt like staying with family and I was so sad to leave it behind. Would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you so much!

I was only stopping by for one night but I was very glad I picked this hostel. Our hosts were very kind and welcoming and gave us great recommendations for our drive the following day. The property is nice and well located, I highly recommend!

I rarely write reviews but this place was so outstanding I feel the need to let everyone know, you will absolutely love staying here. The hosts Cor and Alison are wonderful we chatted with them for hours they’re very knowledgeable and involved in the Kruger community, the rooms and common areas were comfortable clean and well designed, the safari we booked was excellent and it was sad to leave but we had an absolutely amazing time staying here. Nice place near Kruger Park. It's great to talk to the owner Cor. He is very knowledgeable about Kruger, Safaris and many other things. The location is inside a private park with restaurants and so on. The hostel has a nice kitchen small pool and rooftop terrace. Everything was very clean. Just don't forget the mosquito repellent.

We traveled around SA for 5 weeks and this place was definitely our favorite. With the most wonderful host: kind genuine and possesses incredible knowledge of animals and an even greater sense of humor 🙂 The place is simple but has its charm and everything you need: kitchen, chilling area, hot water, clean rooms and electricity even during the load shedding. This was the first place we had stayed right before entering Kruger National Park! Our host was incredibly kind, with tons of really crazy and interesting stories of his time running the hostel and living out by or within the park. He had wild genets that would come to eat some meat he would leave out on his deck, and many types of buck and birds would come wandering through his yard rather frequently. Very comfortable place. Highly recommend!

My sister and I stayed here for a week in June and it was absolutely wonderful. The hostel owner Cor took such great care of us and we had wonderful evenings with him where we sat together in his living room and he told us so much about the animals in Kruger Park since he is also a guide. The hostel is also great for people without a car because they offer all the tours around the area. We highly recommend it! It’s so beautiful there!
